Two Story Silicon Valley Family Home

Welcome to our house; my name is Joanna. I do background work in movies, TV, commercials and industrials. I enjoy the excitement and creativity of being on a set so much that I thought why not turn our house into a set? Our house is a traditional home with a varied style. There’s both a mix of antiques and new furniture. You’ll find interior barn doors and an old red wall dial phone. Overall, the feeling is both warm and inviting, comfortable, and updated. Our front parlor gives the impression of stepping back in time. The gourmet kitchen is colorful, bright and whimsical. Upstairs we have three bedrooms. We’ve lived in our house for 25 years and my husband’s love of gardening shows. We're minutes away from freeways, restaurants and shopping. There's street parking and a dead end cul de sac just 200 feet away. Front porch has Craftsman-style columns. The backyard has green grass, lots of flowers, fruit trees, meditation garden, fountain, trellises, brand new redwood deck, and a vegetable garden. The house was remodeled in 2011. The gourmet kitchen is a joy to cook in. The island is a beautiful walnut with it's own sink. The countertops are done in granite. A focal point is the 48” professional burgundy stove/ovens with a whimsical flower backsplash. There are white cabinets and hardwood flooring. The windows and french doors open up to the lush backyard. The kitchen and dining areas are 375 SQ FT. We recently updated our backyard. We put in a patio area with a fire pit table, chairs, an umbrella and a garden shed. The rest of the backyard remains the same. Here's a fun video that was shot at my house.
