GORGEOUS event space for an elegant cocktail party for 20 guests. The gallery provided enough space for a cocktail lounge with a sofa, chairs and cocktail table, as well as a DJ on one side and food and additional cocktails on the other. It was fun using the art as a backdrop for my decor! The venue management team was very friendly accommodating leading up to and on the day-of the event. Would recommend for intimate events.

Beautiful space. We hosted a Holiday Party for 50 people and everything came together exactly as planned. Kathryn was very easy to coordinate with. We used Lilihana catering out of Baltimore and the execution and utilization of space was perfect.

This space was amazing for a small scale cocktail style event. I was able to have a caterer, bar area setup, small DJ area, balloon backdrop and 7 hi-boys in the space for roughly 40 to 45 guests. The staff at the Foundry was extremely responsive and accommodating. If you rent I suggest you visit the space and have your caterer also visit the space to determine the best options for serving guests. One thing to note you are responsible for collecting the trash at the end of the night and discarding it, but the onsite staff will tell you where to put it. My guests loved the art and it completely gives any event a very unique vibe. Thank you Kathryn for all your help.

We used this space for a baby shower for 40 people. We had 5 rectangle 6' tables with 8 chairs on each and two serving tables. It fit nicely, but don't think it was the greatest for this kind of event. Kathryn was very helpful and provided us with suggestions for set-up, allowed us to use her ice bucket and move things around in the space. We rented extra tables and chairs and brought our own speaker. Pros: - convenient location - parking garage down the block - kitchen with fridge and freezer - lots of people walk by so it would be perfect for a public event -Kathryn was very sweet and helpful Cons: - we booked the venue because of the opening garage doors to accommodate those that were uncomfortable with indoor spaces, but when we arrived those doors were sealed shut and there were sandbags along the entrance. This wasn't specified in the description and was a big disappointment. - the artwork, while beautiful, was not just on the wall, so we had to navigate around some pieces. - you aren't allowed to put any decorations the wall. - recommend visiting before booking to see how the space is divided up - there isn't a clear way to get rid of garbage from event, so we ended up piling it in the trash cans right in front. It would be helpful to have a process for cleanup Would I book again? -probably not for a baby shower, but a book reading or perhaps a screening or cocktail party would be a good idea. I don't recommend for a seated event.

The gallery was perfect for my 30th Birthday Celebration! I had a cocktail party with approximately 50 guests and they were able to enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres and art. John was a lovely host that evening!
