About the Space
Host intimate gatherings, shoot apartment scenes for your video or film or create a Brooklyn backyard event. Perfect for dinner parties in or outdoor, baby showers, and other celebrations that feel at home in this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom garden apartment with approx 800 sq ft of well appointed backyard space with grill, shaded pergola space, water fall feature, garden, table and seating. Full use of kitchen is available. Tables, chairs plates, utensils and cooking supplies available for use. Stove and microwave, both offer convection cooking. Indoor surround sound and flat screen with Chromecast, Apple Air and wifi. Outdoor sound for backyard. Maximum 30 guests with use of outdoor space. Maximum 20 with indoor only use.

- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

If I could I would shoot every film I make with Ray and Melissa! There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe how happy I am with my experience with them. I will start with the space. The ceilings are high and the windows are beautiful, the kitchen and living room are very open allowing for us to transform them into whatever we needed to tell our story. The furniture and items in the house were beautiful, but also Ray and Melissa were very accommodating when it came to clearing the space and loading in our set dec and equipment. Having Ray and Melissa cater our shoot was possibly the best decision I made. Not only was it conveniently prepared on site and it removed the logistical burden of meal planning, but it was more detailed, healthy, and delicious than anything we could have ordered in. They worked with us to accommodate every food restriction and allergy and the food was unreal good. My crew started coming to set excited for the meals and that rarely happens on sets on our budget. Ray and Melissa as humans are positive and have the kind of glowing good attitudes that are contagious. They are exactly the people you want greeting you at 6am with a cup of coffee. They took an active part in our process and gave solid suggestions as to how the location could help tell our story better. They are great team members and collaborators and I hope to work with them again soon!

I had a fantastic time hosting a bridal shower at Melissa and Ray's space. They were very accommodating with our group, ensuring that every detail of the event set up went off without a hitch and were kind enough to set up a tent in case of adverse weather. The ambiance of the outdoor space (complete with a waterfall wall!) was a delight and added the perfect touch to an intimate gathering. Would absolutely book with Melissa and Ray again!

This space is amazing! Its clean, intimate, full of resources, and Mel + Ray are great hosts! I had a smooth and fun time throwing my event in this charming backyard. I can't wait to throw another dinner here!
