This gorgeous new venue converted a downtown corner space into one of Washington D.C.’s most sought after venues for special events. The open, modernized layout is perfect for anything from high profile corporate gatherings, galas, fundraisers, media events, conferences, meetings, concerts, art shows and film screenings to weddings and all types of social events. The rooftop also offers dazzling views and a separate option for guests with multiple event needs. The 8,300 square foot space has 18 foot ceilings, exposed duct work and large windows with optional privacy blinds. There is exceptional lighting throughout with dimmable options and plenty of power distributed on separate circuits. Rigging points give clients additional design and decor options with places to hang anything from production equipment to centerpieces and chandeliers. With its existing seating options, gorgeous pergola and landscaped planters it is the perfect addition to any event in the main venue. The rooftop is available for an additional $800 per hour. Located in the heart of Washington, D.C., our event space is steps from Franklin Park and 2 blocks from the McPherson Square Metro with a parking garage also located in the building. It is walking distance to the Mall and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. NSTALLATIONS -The client shall not install any structure of any kind anywhere on the premises without authorization -No posters or banners may be displayed outside the space without the advance approval. PROPERTY REMOVAL Any property of the client or its service providers installed or located at the space shall be removed promptly at the conclusion of the proposed activity based on the contracted load-out end time. INSURANCE The client and each service provider of the client shall, without expense to, and to the satisfaction of the venue, obtain and carry liability insurance. Terms to be provided upon booking. SMOKING Smoking and or “vaping” is not permitted on the rooftop or anywhere within the venue. OPERATION -The client shall adhere to the activities specified in the application for usage. Any modifications of the proposed activity must be agreed to in writing 30 days in advance of the event date. -The client shall under no circumstances mar or impair the appearance of the building and its contents, obstruct access thereto, or interfere with the transactions of the building’s other occupants, nor shall the client jeopardize the safety of persons or property. -Rigging points can only be used if the client and approved vendor have submitted a floorplan and completed a walkthrough with venue Staff. STORAGE -There are no storage facilities available. -All property and equipment belonging to the client or its service providers must be removed immediately after the event. If vendors do not load-out by the contracted load-out end time, the client will be billed for additional load-out surcharge hours and/or additional load-out days. LOBBY The lobby of the main building is not part of the venue. It is not to be used for storage or gathering unless rental arrangements have been made in advance. NONDISCRIMINATION The client agrees that no person will be discriminated against in connection with the use of the property on the grounds of sex, age, creed, race, religion, national origin, marital status, or disability, nor will any person be denied the benefits of or subjected to discrimination in connection with the event. ILLEGAL NARCOTICS Persons attending the event (including but not limited to, the client, guests and service providers) are prohibited from possessing or being under the influence of any illegal drugs. Use of/possession of illegal drugs will result in immediate removal. GAMBLING Gambling is not permitted on the premises. PRINTED AND VERBAL REFERENCE TO THE SITE The venue and its address may be listed on printed material as the site or venue for the event, but not as the host of the event unless previously agreed upon by the venue and client. TICKET SALES Sale of tickets is prohibited at the site unless approved in advance. ACCESS/DELIVERIES The client acknowledges and agrees that any and all deliveries to the venue must happen within the contracted time. No service providers can block access to the venue or the main building. SERVICE PROVIDERS/VENDORS -Any vendors providing services at the venue must meet prior approval. -Clients and vendors must arrange a trash plan prior to the event and have adequate staff and garbage cans on hand along with a specified method of removing garbage during the event and storing it on a truck, etc. for offsite disposal. FOOD All food served, must be served by a licensed and approved caterer. No food is to be cooked on the premises. Foods that omit strong odors are not permitted. ALCOHOL If alcohol is served, it shall be provided and served by an approved catering company in compliance with all applicable laws. SECURITY Security for all events will be provided by the venue. SCHEDULES Clients must provide a detailed event schedule including load-in designation for all service providers. FLORAL AND FOLIAGE -If flowers or plants are provided for the event, they must be completely removed immediately after the event. -Real candles may not be incorporated into floral centerpieces. -Cutting of flowers or foliage is not permitted onsite. -No flower petals are permitted directly on the venue floor. TENTING Tents are only allowed on the rooftop, subject to prior written approval. In order to ensure safety and the smooth operations of such special plans, the venue may, in its sole discretion, require further special arrangements. Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
