Built in 1915 by a Norwegian shipbuilder, the home is comprised of a living room with a fireplace, an expansive dining room, a newly remodeled kitchen with attached sunroom, sun porch and a newly remodeled bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, oils, tea, and spices. The house faces west and catches the evening sunsets. It is a home abundant with lush plants. Entry to the home will take you through an intimate, multi-terraced garden that overlooks a forest of black bamboo. There are queen sized beds in each guest room, and one twin bed located in the sunporch. Space is perfect for groups anywhere from 2 to 15. Seating suitable for 8-10+ people. The space is perfect for bachelorette parties, garden gatherings, networking events, celebrations, and off-sites or a photo/video shoot. Please note* The lower half of the the house is a separate apartment. The level are securely locked from each other. The house is perfectly-located just one block from the bus lines on West Queen Anne where you can catch a bus and be downtown Seattle in fifteen minutes or historic Ballard in ten or a quick five-minute walk will bring you to Whole Foods and Peet's Coffee. There is no private parking but street parking is rarely a problem.

Catering and Outside Food is Allowed. Renter is solely responsible for the actions of his/her staff, vendors and guests at all time. Renter is responsible for any damage to the facility and/or its contents, including loss or damage to artwork, furniture, and accessories as well as home systems and structure. Any damages caused to any artwork or furnishing will be billed at the full retail value with payment due and payable, without offset or demand, within seven days of the event.
