iQ Smart Center is a state-of-the-art conference center located within the 655 West Broadway office building. The space comprises two rooms, Edison and Tesla, which can be rented separately or together for larger groups (see additional listings). The Tesla Room can host groups up to 46 and can accommodate 6' social distancing for groups up to 12. || Technology || The Tesla Room has 2 monitors on mobile carts at the front of the room for presenting, in addition to a modern whiteboard and videoconferencing capabilities. Easily screencast your content from your device to the monitors over Wi-Fi or via HDMI. For your reference, Bruegger’s Bagels is on-site for quick and easy breakfast and lunch options (6am-3pm M-F, 6am-2:30pm Sat/Sun). || COVID-19 Policies || Face coverings are recommended for all as a courtesy to others in common areas of the building. Please remember to wash hands frequently, avoid close contact with others, and stay home if you feel sick or have a fever. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the building. iQ Smart Center has been treated with MicroShield 360, an anti-microbial coating that kills pathogens and prevents them from living on treated surfaces (as well as the lobby, restrooms, and elevator cabs and call buttons). Our janitorial team cleans and disinfects the space before and after each reservation with products that meet the CDC’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

From start to finish, our experience with this venue was outstanding. The host was very responsive to our needs and , once we arrived, remained so as well. The venue was exactly as portrayed. It was clean, the table and chairs were laid out exactly as requested and the AV worked perfectly. The location was ideal and the coffee shop across the hall was also outstanding. All in all, we would highly recommend this venue, and will definitely return again when our plans include San Diego! Thank you for making this an excellent experience for our course participants and for making us look good to them as well.
