This house is absolutely gorgeous! But if you are filming, here are some things you should know, not listed in the posting as of this writing: 1. GET A PERMIT - neighbors called cops on us for “too much traffic,” as the officer told us, 2 hrs into the shoot because they did not like our crews’ cars on the street even though we and were completely contained in the home and private backyard. Luckily we were able to shoot by moving our cars and having nice officers but we would have lost our ($1500) money on the location and had to stop production. This is not the first time this has happened at this house apparently, we found out. Owner mentioned in passing when we first saw house “you may want to get a permit; Idon’t know”. You MUST have one. Filmla.com 2. The air condition definitely works and blast fully; it’s great, but with lights and 20 people, it’s gets hot, fast. The post says 100 people, but I really can’t imagine more that 25 in here during summer. 3. You have to wear booties or take your shoes off, which is fine, but when the crew is lifting equipment in and out of the house that def slows down a production and can be quite inconvenient. 4. Be specific about how much Location Scout time you need. We saw the house the first time from 6:30pm-7:00 pm as the owners are very adamant about putting their young kids to bed at 7. Fair. But, when we came back 5 days later to see the home one last time for the shoot, we decided on 5:00pm so we could have enough time but at 5:39, one owner said “can you guys hurry it up? You’ve been here for a while just like last time.” So just be specific on how much time you need. But again, it is a gorgeous house!
