About the Space

Late 1800's stone house with very unique features -- only 1 hour from Manhattan! Endless opportunities for beautiful shots. Our house features an all-stone Great Room with original details, including a floor-to-ceiling fireplace; beams made from real trees; a barn door; wagon wheel chandeliers, and diamond shaped windows. The house sits on 1/2 acre which includes a (non-working) well. You'll have access to 1-2 bedrooms for dressing rooms and/or holding areas; 1 bathroom; a renovated country kitchen; a covered front porch; and backyard outdoor patio. Outside, there's a working vegetable garden; a non-working well; and plenty of outdoor space to set up tents for a commissary or other needs you may have for the crew. There is room in front of the house for at least 6 cars, plus room in the driveway for 3 cars. There is more street parking around the corner that's free and easy.

Tons of windows. In the past, crews have blocked out the light with black curtains hung on outside. Brightest in the AM and late afternoon.

It's generally quiet with the exception of usual noise like lawn mowers. (In summer, may have fireworks going off at night though!)

Plenty of outlets throughout the Great Room -- along the edges and even right in the middle of the room. Circuit breaker is in kitchen.

General Rules

No candles ever; no smoking indoors; smoking allowed outdoors in designated area; if window screens are removed, must be put back into place; may use houselights, but for anything larger like air conditioners, you must bring generator for power; no loud noise after 10pm weekdays and 11pm weekends; prior approval for pets. When booking, you must include ALL TIME ON SITE including setting up and cleaning up.

Must have proof of $1MM in liability insurance.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture can be moved; fixtures like wagon wheel chandeliers cannot be moved.

Yes. There is a Ring doorbell with video by the kitchen door that is always on.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures

We are extremely careful to make sure our space is clean and disinfected with free flow of air. Windows are left open for at least a day before any booking. We also require proof of vaccination to enter inside.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
