Our inviting 450 square foot open-floor storefront gallery is great for classes, workshops, meetings, photo/video shoots, intimate performances, and private events with an arty sensibility. Textured white interior walls, high ceilings, and gleaming wood floor play beautifully with the natural light that floods in through french doors, our large street-facing bay window (outfitted with a small platform), and additional windows in the rear of the space. Makers of all stripes will enjoy configuring our endlessly adaptable gallery space. Speaker system, climate control, ceiling-mounted projector with HDMI cable and Mac adapter, wifi, color printer/copier (pay per page), privacy screens for street-facing windows, electric kettle, adjustable track lighting, folding screen, restroom, tables and 23 chairs, rotating visual art exhibits. Street level access makes load in and out very easy. We recycle! Non-profit and independent artist rates are available. Please reach out to us for more information. We are located on Summit Ave a 10 minute walk from Journal Square, accessible via PATH. Street parking and pay lots are available nearby.
Booked hours must include load in/set up and break down/load out. Please book accordingly. No smoking. Noise must be kept to a reasonable volume during work hours and to a minimum both inside and outside during the building's quiet hours (weekdays from 10pm-8am and weekends from 11pm-9am). Leave the space neat and broom-clean after each use. Items left behind will be at owner’s risk and may be discarded. All faucets, lights, thermostat, and electronics must be turned off at the end of each session, and all items must be returned to where they were found and in good working order. The space may not be altered without the prior written approval. Odorous trash may not be left inside - take it with you or deposit in the building trash cans adjacent to the gallery.We recycle! Please use the green can for recyclables and the black wastebasket for trash. We host rotating visual art shows. All artwork shall remain undisturbed; clients will be charged for the full listed value of any artwork damaged during their rental period. Sales, including sale of merchandise and tickets, and solicitation of donations are permitted only with prior approval. The gallery comes as is, and we cannot guarantee removal of furniture or other items. Please speak with us to ensure that our space will meet your needs. All rentals require a fully refundable $200 security deposit, payable by cash or check, held in case of damages to the facility, art, or other property. The security deposit must be submitted prior to your rental period.
