ALA CARTE SERVICES 55" Rolling television with internal speakers - $50 per rental Four banks of overhead LED lighting with 8 pre-set "looks" - $50 per rental (note that the LED lights can be re-focused with the use of our ladder) Wired mic and small speaker for presentations - $50 per rental TECHNICAL A/V SERVICES For those requiring more advanced lighting and sound (DJ parties, church groups, concerts, performances, etc.), we offer technical services and equipment. After a discussion to understand your needs, we will provide a technician and appropriate equipment for an additional $50/hour. FILM AND PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO SERVICES Greenscreen Studio: 20'x10' greenscreen painted on the Main Studio south wall, and sound-baffling sound-stage curtains make this a perfect spot for greenscreen video and photographic shoots. Convenient load-in from the alley. If you wish to use the Greenscreen wall during your booking, the rental fee will be $75 per hour (not including any additional equipment). Lighting: Five photographer diffuser greenscreen umbrella lights on stands; four banks of LED lights (total of 16 lights) which are easy to rehang and focus Audio and Video: 4 prosumer videocams, 4 hypercardioid microphones, an amazing Roland audio/video switcher which we use for live streamcasting (switching between four cameras on the fly) capability to streamcast or record, or both. Sound and Video Crew: Tell us your needs and we will provide crew via Custom Offer. ***RENTAL POLICY*** Your booking begins at your start time and ends at your end time. Usually we will be in the space at least 15 minutes prior to your start time, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to get into the building or the rental room until the exact time of your booking start. We expect you to be cleared out of the building by your booking end time. If you need to stay later, we will contact Peerspace to extend your booking at our regular rate (or our late-night rate of $100/hour if it is later than 11pm). There is no SMOKING or VAPING allowed. No GLITTER and no GUM. Alcohol may be served (but not sold) if your rental includes only people who are 21 and older. Your rental includes: Folding tables (four 6-foot; two 4-foot) Stacking banquet chairs (approx. 95, although they are spread throughout the building). Regular fluorescent lighting. Access to WiFi Access to our "honor-system" snack area with water, soda, and snacks available for $1 each. When you leave the space, it would be appreciated if you return the folding tables to their cupboard; re-stack the banquet chairs; and clean up any personal items/trash/spills from the rental hair (we have brooms available). If the room is left with damage, trash, spills, GLITTER or GUM - we will contact Peerspace and add a $100 cleaning fee to your booking.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. This space was perfect for our play reading! The platform was just the right size for the five actors (with room to spare) And I liked that it was elevated which gave it more a sense of performance. The space can hold 90, but was limited to 30 because of Covid, but even with a smaller audience, with the seats set some distance apart, it looked plenty full. I would recommend perhaps adding a mic to actors on stage, as folks in the back had trouble hearing. Elise was great! At my request, not only did she provide enough chairs for everyone, but stools and music stands for the actors! All we had to do was set them up and put them away at the end of the reading. She was also very responsive to any questions or concerns I had in advance or during the reading. My only small proviso about this workshop space is, even though street parking is free on the weekends (which is great), there wasn't a lot of spaces available right in front of the location, so audience should be warned they may have to look on the side streets (where there looks to be plenty of available spaces). All in all I really like the space and will definitely book it again for any future play readings!
