Rustic Santa Monica Mountains Ranch

We are a working creative community ranch. The focus is the outdoors with rustic structures and buildings.If you are looking for scenery with no visible buildings with the classic Southern California mountains look, we have it. Oak trees, sycamore trees, hills , meadows and mountain vistas. There are many different looks and areas to choose from. A sweeping beautiful meadow with giant oaks trees, plus a seasonal creek, full of rocks and boulders. Dirt and gravel roads. Three different wooden bridges. Trails and paths thru the woods. There's a rustic colorful trailer in the woods, 70's RV in the parking lot A beautiful Rosarito style patio and pool behind the main house. Tiki Bar at the end of the pool A giant whimsical stilt tree branch platform. Small western style wooden stages. Empty Studio Unit with 10' ceiling, white with concrete floors We've recently added the property next door to us for indoor and outdoor looks Cottage ,Germanic style Troll House. Wooden and Stone Shed/Room Now we also have: Eclectic Bohemian Safari Tent/Building, exterior and interior looks Authentic look WWI, WW II Foxhole, 10' x 20', 4' Deep, Dirt w/ Sandbag walls Each of the areas is separate from the others. There is road access of varying degrees to each area. You can add your own props /or decorations. Or redecorate if you like. We've had music videos, outdoor horror films, branding content, feature film, among others shot here.. There is a converted RV ,set up in the parking lot with power, seating, A/C, makeup counter, to use as your base camp There is a full size Porta potty right next to it for your use, so you don't have to rent one. In the new normal of Covid, we are keeping the residents and outside crews in separate areas and bathrooms. There is a sink for hand washing plus a table with hand sanitizer and paper towels. We also have a couple of pop-ups, 6' tables and 20 some chairs. One large pop-up 11x11,we frequently use for a second set-up/basecamp. There are Kawasaki Mule ATV vehicles to rent for moving gear around. We have power in the trailer and stage area. Internet is outside and inside the trailer. the back meadow does not have a large power source, you might need a generator. There's a huge parking lot in the front area, 40 cars. There's also parking in the back(10 cars) and access and parking to the middle areas. Box trucks can only get to the parking lot. Further back we have low trees and power lines 13 1/2 ft. can make it We ask that people carpool , but we also have access the parking on the property in front of us. We're 20 mins from 101 Freeway on a private/public road. The last 2 miles of the road are private and the road is one and half lanes wide. We must respect the neighbors that use the road. There are pull out spots, for when 2 cars meet. Please be nice and back into or pull out to the side when you can. And drive slowly as there are animals on the road too. Besides the scenery is beautiful! We are in the Secondary Studio Zone
