The Back Studio at St John Studios is the perfect for portrait sessions, smaller sets, product photography, or a secret retreat for your event guests. Approx. 300 sq ft (+ 320 sq ft lounge) Capacity 12 This small but mighty turnkey studio features a high ceiling (16 - 23 ft angled), a large south-facing window, a vintage wood wall, two sets of seamless, a 12 ft Foba studio stand, and an adjacent kitchenette/lounge perfect for craft services or hair + makeup. Flexible enough to support small video sets, the curved steel staircase offers a compelling background and easy access to a high vantage point for production and BTS. A service door accesses a secluded back patio behind the shed bar w/ standing tables & stools — a great spot to take a break! Weekend rentals available per availability / at extra cost. Rental includes 1 Studio Room + 1 Production Lounge. *ALL SETUP & TEARDOWN MUST OCCUR DURING RENTED HOURS* The Rental is within a large converted warehouse near the Crestview MetroRail Station. Parking is available onsite with easy access to building for load-in. --- Studio Features --- - 10ft Studio Stand with Manfrotto geared head / base plate - 2 C-Stands (each w/ grip head & arm) - 1 paper backdrop is included (16ft) *MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE* - Additional backdrop use available at $30 per color (up to 16ft) - High ceilings - Natural light - Blackout curtain The Production Lounge (320 sq ft) features a seating area, mirrors for hair & makeup, kitchenette with coffee-making apparatus (beans available for purchase at Barrett's next door), toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Outdoor access from the lounge opens into a small "beer-garden" w/ standing tables & stools. A great spot to take a break! **Additional areas used for photo/video outside of designated Rental can be made available at the added rate of $100/hr.** Access provided to 2 restrooms (shared w/ other warehouse tenants & guests). Entire rental area is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible, with the note that the outdoor areas are hard-packed gravel and the beer garden is landscaped with loose gravel.
