Our beautiful sky lounge is perfect for any social gathering, party, or meeting. Flexible seating allows for casual mingling and dining. A partial kitchen makes this space ideal for events that utilize catering. The space features: Casual seating arrangements with couches, clubchairs, and tables Partial kitchen includes - ice-maker, microwave, sink, large island and bar stools Dining table with seating Decorative accent lighting Fully private space We recommend for larger events that you visit the space in advance to ensure it will suit your needs. We do not allow for any marijuana or drug related events. No pets or animals allowed in the space. Noise is a concern as we are located in a residential community. Any music, DJ, instrumentalist, or karaoke would need to be pre-approved in advance. Some parking is available on the upper deck of our parking structure. Ask us for additional information. We will add an additional $30 per hour security fee to all gatherings with a guest count of 20 people or more. This ensures the safety and well-being of your guests and our residents. An additional cleaning fee will be assessed for events using confetti or excessive glitter as decor. A licensed bar tender is required at all events serving alcohol. Licensing information will need to be provided prior to the event. A guest list is required at least 3 days prior to your event and can be submitted via email. Ask your host which email will work the best. Depending on your event we may require a Certificate of Insurance prior to a booking. Event Insurance can be purchased by visiting www.theventhelper.com Our space is proudly Smoke-Free and Pet-Free. Guests are only allowed to access the Sky Lounge and cannot access any other parts of building. Depending on your event, we might recommend that you provide a staff member to check in guests at the front desk of the building as they will be entering a formal lobby on the first floor. Please be respectful of the space and return it in the condition that it was delivered to you, at the time that your reservation ends. We are located inside a residential apartment home community, so please do know that you may see our wonderful residents and their pets as you enter and exit the building. Please be mindful of that when booking your event. Noise is a concern as we are located in a residential community. Any music, DJ, instrumentalist, or karaoke would need to be pre-approved in advance. No music allowed after 11pm. Your space reservation time should include time for set up and clean up. If you're unsure how much time you will need, we recommend 1 hour before and 1 hour after your event time. For this very special space, we typically like to have the host of the event meet with our site team to walk through and ensure your needs are met. All guest hosts are required to sign our license agreement prior to the event. Please follow Peerspace's overtime and cancellation policies. We are so happy to have you!
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. I hosted my birthday party in the Del Ray Tower penthouse. My event was beautiful and my guests were wowed. While booking, my host, Lacey, was nice and responsive to all my inquiries. I wish that she would have been the person on site on the day of my event but, the staff that was there was equally as service oriented. The space was perfect EXCEPT the largest balcony window and doors could not be opened so it got a little hot in the space. Not the end of the world but it waaas the largest balcony... Other than that, I'm still on cloud 9 thinking about my beautiful party and would definitely book again.

The Spacious Sky Lounge provides breathtaking views of Alexandria and Washington, DC. The space is stunning and provided a priceless event to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday. I highly recommend this space to everyone!!!!

The venue was perfect for our baby shower. The space was well equipped and absolutely stunning. Everyone enjoyed the views and there was ample seating for all of our guests. I would highly recommend it and would love to attend another function there.

My mom and I rented the Sky Lounge for a family event, the view is spectacular, and the lounge is nicely appointed despite having no kitchen for food prep. Management of the facility however was absolutely horrible, difficult to communicate with & unprofessional. We rented the space at $195/hr with the host’s rep Justen D. He was professional, easy going & assured us that the space would be great for our event and it was. Before our event, Justen left, was replaced with Lacey B and the rental fees raised. In her first introduction as the new host, we were asked to pay $210 more for security that was included in our original agreement. When we refused to allow the host to change the terms of the agreement, we then received phone calls & emails questioning our payment & right to rent another space onsite. During check-in the host was rude, obstructive & surly when questioned about the lack of communication, care shown by management & the terms of a 2nd contract we were forced to sign, which included ridiculous insurance indemnities. We were originally told we’d have dedicated security since we expected 40+ guests. However, an onsite security guard is provided for the entire building and only periodically checks on the event space. I’ve never experienced this level of unprofessionalism; truly frustrating. We paid almost $2000 and they behaved as if we stole something. Peerspace should consider dropping this venue until they have a better attitude about renting their space.
