This unique venue, housed in a historic Harlem townhouse with oversized rooms, elegant fireplaces, original etched glass sliding doors, a majestic staircase, and lots of natural east/west light exposure, is well suited for a myriad of events including live music, poetry, art exhibits, product launch, movie and television productions, photo shoots, and fashion shows. We are located directly across the street from the famed Harlem Haberdashery and Dapper Dan's Gucci location, and two blocks from the 125th Street shopping corridor, home to Whole Foods, Red Rooster, the express 2 and 3 trains, and the Lenox Avenue experience. The Parlor Floor is the perfect combination of original detail with modern accents. The Seating and Great rooms each have 14 foot ceilings, 5' tall wood fireplaces, and an overabundance of natural light. Between the two is the common area that incorporates the majestic staircase. Hardwood floors, modern lighting, and the owner’s "artful walls" collection that includes original works from Deborah-Shedrick, Ernani Silva, Willie Torbert, and the Lynn Twins completes the Harlem experience. Guest accommodation are available, making the townhouse the perfect destination for family reunions and corporate retreats. Recent events include Idea Manufacturer's 5th anniversary celebration and Harlem Park to Park's Holiday Vendor Fair.
No smoking inside. No pets. No nails, screws, staples, tape or gummed backed materials may be used to attach or affix anything to the furniture, walls, or building. Glitter or confetti is allowed with an accompanying $100 clean-up fee. No sparklers, Roman candles, or fire producing gags or effects. Face painting, hand paints, stains, or other similar activity is allowed in designated areas and with proper floor protection and an accompanying $100 clean-up fee. No loud music after 11pm except in the Garden Level. Furniture can only be moved by the host upon request. INSURANCE: Additional Event Insurance is required and may be obtained through Eventhelper.com. Please list the host as additional insured. DOOR MANAGEMENT: High-traffic Events (ie: large groups or rentals with multiple people cycling in and out during the evening) will require someone from the Guest's team to help manage building access. EARLY DROP OFFS & LATE PICKUPS: Early drop offs of equipment outside normal booking hours may require an additional fee per scheduled appointment. IMPORTANT: Please consider your setup and teardown needs for the evening and factor time into your booking accordingly. Thank you.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. This space is BEAUTIFUL!! Held a birthday party here with about 50 people on new year's eve, and it was just enough space & then some! We were able to have a DJ, served light snacks, and drinks. Maria was a great host, was flexible, friendly, and accommodating. She let us arrive early to set up and put up decorations. She even provided a number of party items including some chairs, tables and coat rack. Would love to use again!

This event space is beautiful and was an excellent choice for our Launch Party. Everybody loved the space and took some amazing pictures of themselves in the Gallery on the Parlor floor. The place was well air conditioned and Marie was very accommodating throughout the entire process. I highly recommend people to use this townhouse.

Excellent centrally located space in Harlem! I loved using the main floor space for a Harlem Renaissance themed 50th birthday party. Maria was very responsive and accommodating leading up to and through the event. I also rented one of the newly renovated and beautifully designed bedrooms to stay in after the event. It was very useful to have that private "homebase" room to get ready and store our personal belongings. I would highly recommend this space, it can definitely be used to host a variety of events. I look forward to using this space for my future event needs.
