About the Space
Welcome to Ostrich Farm Studio, an award-winning boutique studio specializing in film, video, and photography. Our studio is in beautiful South Pasadena, California, just a few minutes from downtown Los Angeles, on the historical site of the Cawston Ostrich Farm, America's first ostrich farm established in 1886. The studio boasts a 20 by 30-foot shooting stage. The soundstage is acoustically treated, well-designed, and climate-controlled. There is free parking for up to 40 spots for cast and crew, with a convenient ground-floor entrance to the studio. All in-house equipment is tested and disinfected before and after each shoot to ensure a hassle-free and comfortable production. Our hourly rates for rental are based on the number of guests present during the rental period, with a minimum of 5 hours required. Please note that filming and photography are only allowed in the soundstage area, and additional fees may apply for shooting in other parts of the facility. Additionally, the soundstage comes with a freshly painted white cyclorama, which can be used for your productions. A standard painting fee will apply if you prefer a chroma-key green cyclorama.

Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
