HOST RULES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please read carefully, feel free to ask questions. CATERING You are able to have outside food or catering for your event. You are responsible for cleaning up the food/catering after your event. This cleanup includes removing leftovers, wiping down tables, and sweeping / wiping any food or drink spills that may have fallen to the floor. There is no kitchen in the facility. TABLES & CHAIRS There are tables and chairs available from our inventory included in the rental, see list below. They are for indoor use only. Additional needs can be rented for you at an additional charge, or you can rent additional needs on your own. Note: Outside tables and chairs must be in good condition, i.e. feet protectors intact that will not scratch or damage the floors. The renter will be charged for damages to the floor. DECORATIONS & DISPLAYS Decorations and displays may not be hung with objects that create holes (nails, tacks, staples). Do not use tapes or glues that leave a sticky residue. The only adhesive material allowed on the walls or floors are stage tape or painters tape that will not damage surfaces. All other decoration/displays must be freestanding. No furniture of any kind can be brought into the venue without prior approval. SETUP / RIPDOWN / CLEANING Our facility will be professionally cleaned for your event. Your staff or volunteers are responsible for setting up and ripping down tables and chairs before and after the event. As for cleanup, we ask food and drink spills be cleaned, and event trash be collected and put in dumpsters outside at the end of the event. Smoking will be permitted outside the facility if the renter provides a place (bucket, etc) where cigarette butts can be discarded with care. More on Setup & Ripdown There are tables and chairs available from our inventory. Your staff or volunteers are responsible for taking them from our nearby storage closet, setting up in your chosen configuration, and returning them to the closet after the event. After the event, all items brought in by you, your vendors, or your guests should be removed from the facility, including all decorations. Please leave the cultural center in broom swept condition, and spot clean any food/drink spills. If you make use of the outdoor space, please be sure to collect any items (or trash) left outside. Please gather and bag all trash from both indoor and outdoor activities. Trash bags should be placed in the dumpster on the property parking lot. ALCOHOL & SECURITY Our facility complies with TABC regulations. All events must provide a TABC licensed bartender if alcohol is going to be served. Public events serving/selling alcohol may require security. No weapons are allowed on the property. INSURANCE Event insurance is required for all events. Please include liquor liability insurance if alcohol will be served.
