This 1927 home in a historic Detroit community features 4000 square feet of space and a double-lot freshly landscaped garden that can be used in a variety of ways for your artistic vision. Multiple living & entertaining spaces offer plenty of variety for photo and video shoots in one home with a great mix of historic and modern. Mid-Century Modern meets Great Gatsby. PERFECT FOR: Interviews, documentaries, photoshoots, boudoir, burlesque, real estate photography, food staging, cooking, product photography, portrait photography, music videos, small ceremonies, and more. ABOUT YOUR HOSTS: This is the personal home of the hosts. The host works from home and will typically be on-site for your booking to welcome you in, guide you through the space, and help with any questions or concerns you might have during your booking. A little about each space of the home: VINTAGE CAR & MOPEDS We have a 1954 Chevrolet 210 Coupe, two vintage 1950s Mopeds, a futuristic electric motorbike, and e-bicycles that can be made available for an additional fee. LOUNGE A custom made large leather Chesterfield is a centerpiece in the home surrounded by natural light and makes a great spot for an interview, portrait and product photography. This room also features a vinyl collection, large 1890s vintage trunk, large cast iron radiator, lots of plants, and several comfy seats. This room gets the most incredible natural light the entire day! BAR/MUSIC ROOM Show off your musical abilities or relax with a cocktail and some vinyl in this space. Beyond the fabulous original curved plaster ceiling, this room has a stunning Yamaha Grand Piano in satin black that is always kept in-tune, as well as two acoustic guitars and a vintage 1950s Hawaiian Ukulele. The dry bar features over 50 bottles of liquor both locally made and brought from around the world. Vintage barware, and a variety of glassware is available for staging from wine glasses to coupes, tiki glasses, and outdoor silicone glassware perfect for the fire pit and patio. Finally, a vintage walnut Motorola record console is a great place to show off some vinyl. KITCHEN A great place to cook and stage a meal. It features a large island, marble countertops, gas stove, farmhouse sink & prep sink, appliance garage, Smeg kettle, combo air/fryer toaster oven, Kitchenaid stand mixer, hand painted tile backsplash, 1960s vintage dish & glassware, custom Amish cabinetry, and more. MASTER BATH SUITE & BATHROOMS A relaxing escape with large cast iron tub, walk in shower with subway tile, marble tile flooring, large walnut double vanity, vintage Art Deco makeup vanity, navy blue painted walls, chandelier, bidet toilet, and more. The master bedroom features a bay window with a custom architectural mural backdrop. Other bedrooms feature vintage automotive artwork, a 1960s avocado bedroom set, two home office desks for working and more. DOUBLE LOT GARDEN The freshly reimagined double-lot garden means plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Large outdoor patio with pergola and fire-pit offer the perfect place to stage an outdoor meeting or have a luxurious garden backdrop. Flowering plants, lush grass, landscape lighting, and even a secret hammock hiding spot can be found all around the home. A modern, imported hardwood privacy fencing surrounds the entire back of the property to create a luxurious backdrop from any angle, and iron fencing in the front of the property gives this home the historic estate feel you're looking for. GARAGE The 3.5-car garage is covered head to toe inside with beautiful beaded woodwork, a home-made elevator system, large tool storage, and the ability to light for mood with vintage brass fixtures, or light for working with workshop LED lighting.
