Our space works best for small to modest size still and film shoots, interviews and castings. As small still photography shoots are our priority, all crews with more than 5 persons/crew members are considered only on case by case basis -always message us first to find out if your shoot is right for on your desired shoot date. The gated driveway has room for up to 4 cars. The street is semi-commercial, without residential structures on the opposite side of the street. The street parking is un-restricted. A supermarket, hardware store and several food options are within 1-2 min walk. The set was originally built to serve our own needs to photograph cocktails/cocktail culture related subjects in a controlled environment. Located inside the second, smaller building of a private residential property, the overall vibe is more "private club" than a commercial bar. The approximately 400 sq ft (+ 900 sq ft yard with 100% privacy and separate 200 sq ft garage/workshop area) indoor bar area has 3 distinctive background looks; "bar", "library" and "wood paneled wall". The fourth wall, opposing the bar, has three large windows with natural light pouring in (direct sunlight appears before noon). We have pre-cut, pre-hung 16 oz Duvetyn black out fabrics to make the space entirely daylight -free, if desired. Just bring enough gaffer tape to seal the sides of fabrics from the light. In addition to indoor background looks, the outdoor area offers tall & leafy "jungle" look, and 10 ft by 7 ft, currently fire-engine red "Palm Springs carport "-style 3D background wall, which can be painted to any color of your choice for extra fee (client provides the paint itself, ask for details). There's also second identical set, consisting three 2 ft by 6.5 ft panels on stands. The panels can be used indoors or outdoors and made to appear even taller with additional stands. Like the larger "Palm Springs carport" wall, they can be painted with any color for extra fee. All current furniture can be moved out of the space or re-arranged to fit your needs, including the commercial grade 10 ft. bar itself that can be pulled outwards or relocated other parts of the space. At the most times, we can do the moving prior to your arrival, or if we're on the premises at the time of the shoot, we'll help you to do it. Some of the furniture seen in our gallery belong to past clients; if you need a particular type of furniture, ask us first. We have a variety of bar/cocktail shoot props, such as ever changing variety of vintage ashtrays, spill mats, drip racks, cocktail shakers / barware and enough assorted glassware for approximately 100 persons. To change the look of the bar underneath the photographed cocktails/barware, there's assortment of pre-cut, pre-painted partial bar tops, made of wood, glass, plexiglass, copper and marble. This selection is always changing; we recommend visiting first and reserving the ones you want to use in your shoot. The adjacent bathroom has a shower. The garage/workshop is available if needed. It has a large rectangular table with coasters, which can be used a production office space either indoors or outdoors. *Note that the Peerspace calendar reflects mainly reservations thru Peerspace. Always message us first about availability before starting the actual booking process.

Carol L. booked a film shoot for 15 people
5 stars for the place....1 star for the host. The space overall was nice. The outdoor space was roomy but the bar section was tiny, so a little hard to film in, but we made it work. Right after we got their our host told us that if we needed anything to text, that he would be back in 1/2 hour. Our DP had some questions about the wiring so I shot our host a text and never heard back. That was a little frustrating because it held us up a little because our DP was trying to be considerate and make sure he didn't overload the system. Eventually he just did his thing and hoped for the best and that ended up OK. We also ran out of toilet paper which seems like a small thing, but when you are on location for 7 hours plus it isn't. Unfortunately we didn't book enough time so we went overtime, but we were happy to pay it and would have paid for more.....so no big deal, but unfortunately our host had a booking for 1/2 hour after we were scheduled which gave us very little grace time to get out of there. I kept waiting for the next crew to arrive while we were still cleaning up (we ended up staying 1 1/2 hours overtime with only one person arriving who went to the residence rather than the work space, so not really sure if that was the next crew or not) At the end of the night I get a lecture from the host which I suspect wouldn't have happened if I had been a guy....but who knows. Just charge me overtime and get off my back. We know we could have planned better and booked more time and/or scouted the place ahead of time but I don't need someone lecturing me on how I screwed up while making assumptions about why we were overtime. We had very limited time and resources as I'm sure is the case with many indie film productions. I have a hard time imagining that we are the first group that went overtime. I didn't appreciate getting harassed for being an amateur. Of course I am....If I was in the big time would I be using peer space??? I think not!!!
Thomas P. booked a film shoot for 6 people
Better than the pictures displayed. Marko was very trusting and understands the scope of varied projects. I would recommend to anyone who is wanting a good looking production value for a small budget project!
Hortense L. booked an audio recording for 5 people
It was a wonderful experience filming at Marko's location. He was always quick to answer and very kind. I love the space and decoration, which was all conveniently set up for a film shoot. I would come back to film here in a heartbeat.
