Our 770 sq. ft room provides prime meeting space in Capitol Hill; walking distance to the Capitol, Supreme Court, House & Senate offices and four miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). This room is on the second floor and opens up to a spacious and sunny balcony overlooking our courtyard and garden. Perfect for presentations, seminars, workshops and team off-sites. Our building was listed in a National Register Historic District in 1976, the Watterston House is a significant part of the Capitol Hill neighborhood’s history. The Watterston House, constructed between 1802 and 1819, has been well taken care of due to its historic significance of its origins as the home of George Watterston. Mr. Watterston was a prominent individual in early-Nineteenth Century Washington. He served as the third Librarian of Congress, founded numerous civic organizations such as the Washington Monument Society, and left his mark on the early political and literary life of the Capital. Our neighborhood is lined with beautifully maintained 19th and early 20th century rowhouses. Grab breakfast or lunch at Le Bon Café or Pete’s Diner just a few doors down; or take a half mile walk to Eastern Market, offering everything from fresh produce and flowers, to baked goods, meats, poultry, cheese and deli products. This space is more beautiful and accommodating than the pictures show! The projection equipment was not only high-end and worked perfectly, but when I had a user error the property manager was able to facilitate fixing it in minutes. There are several parking garages in walking distances, tons of places to eat nearby, and is a safe area. Highly recommend!
