This large manor house dating to 1802 was the family seat of one of the founding families of Maryland. The main house and dependent buildings, including a stable with modern conference space and kitchen above it, gatehouse/cottage, pool house, and exercise space, are sited on 10.5 scenic acres in Howard County, midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC. The main house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the grounds are the home of a nonprofit animal rescue with horses, ponies, mules, a donkey, goats, sheep, pigs, a cow, and chickens. The space is perfect for individual or corporate events from small to large. There is also an underground wine cellar for small events. The outdoor space includes a 2 acre manicured lawn bordered by fields containing the animals, the pool, main house, stables, and a tennis court.
