Huge, flexible, and beautiful loft-like Allston studio

Remember, there's a two hour minimum for bookings. I will not accept bookings under two hours, please don't ask. FYI: As there is currently high demand for the space, I am working to limit the number of two hour bookings which start between 10AM-2PM, as they are difficult to schedule additional bookings around. You are welcome to request a booking during that time, but I may ask you to start earlier or later if possible. Priority for mid-day bookings will be given to requests longer than 2 hours. This 900 sq foot photography studio is in the heart of the rapidly growing Allston section of Boston. It is on the 4th floor of a beautiful building, directly adjacent to a freight elevator with loading dock access. The studio is fully equipped for small-to-medium scale photoshoots, and is packed with almost every imaginable piece of professional equipment. The shooting floor is roughly 600 sq feet, with additional space set aside for equipment storage, client seating, makeup, changing areas, and more. Guests will have access to a number of amenities including: -24/7 keyless entry -Dozens of paper and canvas backdrops (including white, grey, and black seamless) -Light stands, grip, Profoto modifiers, and more -Minifridge, microwave, and water cooler -9' ceiling-mounted seamless white backdrop -Rolling 8x8 painted wall unit -Profoto lights are available for rent for an additional fee -5 west-facing windows and 2 north-facing windows, each with a blackout blind -22,000 BTU air conditioner -Tethering station with 27" monitor and Thunderbolt 3 docking station -Furniture and props -Makeup station with mirror and counter -two full-size V-flats, two 1/2 size v-flats, rolling flats and panels -Larger makeup room available for an additional fee Permitted usage: -Small to medium-size product, portrait, fashion, and headshot photo shoots -Documentary or interview video shoots -Small meetings or conferences -Yoga, posing, or meditation workshops -Lessons, classes, product demos -Makeup trials or other one-on-one meetings ABSOLUTELY NO MUSIC VIDEOS ABSOLUTELY NO DANCE VIDEOS NO SHOOTS WITH LOAD-INS BIGGER THAN A VAN NO PARTIES NO EVENTS Inquiries for bookings with greater than three people MUST provide a professional portfolio/body of work/website or booking will not be permitted, no exceptions. Bookings greater than four people must provide a $500 refundable cleaning/damage deposit. The person being paid MUST book the space; i.e. models cannot book for their photographers. There are security cameras in the studio, we will be checking them periodically to ensure rules are being followed and occupancy is within proper limits. Any violation of these rules and/or limits will result in immediate expulsion from the studio with no refund. ________________________________________________________________________________________ BE AWARE: -The space is not guaranteed to be 100% private. It is shared with a wonderful makeup artist and her team, who may or may not be present during your rental. While the room in which they work is separate from the main studio, they will need to walk through the main studio to access their space. Please do not use their space unless permitted to do so. IF ABSOLUTE PRIVACY (or use of this larger makeup room) IS REQUIRED FOR A SHOOT: Please let me know in your inquiry and the makeup room can be reserved for an additional $10/hr. If you do reserve this room, you must reserve it for the entirety of your booking. ________________________________________________________________________________________ TWO HOUR MINIMUM, NO EXCEPTIONS ________________________________________________________________________________________ I do not charge a cleaning fee, as production usage generally does not require a heavy clean-up of the studio. You may leave trash in the trash can; otherwise, everything else must be reset to the state in which it was found. A map and reference images will be available in the studio. Failure to reset the room will result in a $75 resetting fee. ________________________________________________________________________________________
