Midway Lab is a production and performance space at Midway Artist Studios supporting the development of visual and sound experiences, performance, rehearsal, multimedia art, video projection mapping, filmmaking, cinema, screenings, education and training in Drama, fabrication, and large-scale art assemblies. * Who * We welcome bookings from individuals and organizations whose proposals for the use of this space match or compliment the purpose of the Lab and the agreements of the Midway Studio community. The doors on the right side can be opened automatically using push plates. There are 9 stairs alongside an accessibility lift. You can access the lift by holding the blue button on its left side until it reaches the ground level. The doors at the top and bottom need to be securely closed in order for the lift to operate. At the elevator lobby, go left, and ours is the first door on the right – labeled "LAB." - Loading Door / Medallion Drive We have a loading door with direct access to our space at the back of the building, from Medallion Drive. Because of strict monitoring of the rear parking lot, we suggest that you have a team member in the space with someone else at the car/truck to load-in. If you use the double door, be sure to latch the flush bolts along the inside of the smaller door securely. There is also an ADA-compliant entrance on this side of the building which follows the same protocol as the front door; note that this door is locked after 5P.
