About the Space

This is Georgia O'Keefe country. Perched over the Chama River, this 22 acre ranch is jogging distance to Plaza Blanca. The 4,000 plus square foot house marries old New Mexico charm--deep set windows, kiva fireplaces, antique and tribal furnishings, and original art works--with modern comforts and conveniences throughout. It is surrounded by herb and flower gardens, fruit trees, an old growth "bosque," and looks out to stunning mountain and river views. A 4-stall horse barn is also on site and can be made available upon request. The house can accommodate 5-10 overnight guests (up to 14) in 5 bedrooms upon request.

1. With the exception of a specifically designated outdoor smoking area, smoking is not permitted in the house, grounds or Bosque. 2. Fires can only take place in indoor fireplaces. Fires in the garden area fire pit are allowed only when there are no local outdoor fire restrictions in place. 3. Access to barn, outbuildings, corrals, and pasture areas is not included with the house rental. Guests assumes all risk, and release hosts of all liability, for any injury that might result from contact, intentional or unintentional, with any animal on the property. 4. Guests assume all risks, and release hosts of all liabilities, for injury or accidents that may occur while using any indoor or outdoor space located on the property. 5. The river can have swift currents: swimming from the premises is conducted entirely at guests' personal risk. Guests hold hosts harmless for all use of or swimming in the Chama river from the property. 6. Outdoor music and noise must be kept at levels that are respectful of neighbors' peace and quiet, especially between the hours of 10pm and 8am. 7. Violation of any rule may result in deduction of some or all of Guest's damage deposit.
