The Consulate is an ideal venue to shoot a video, host an interview, or have an amazing photo shoot. Endowed with both history and style, the entire space – indoors and outdoors – has a warm, inviting “vibe” in an elegant setting. In addition to the generous sized rooms, great lighting and vintage architectural details, we have free off-street parking that can accommodate multiple cars/vans. And the vehicles will be parked behind a 6’-tall steel gate. This provides your team with convenience and security. You can drive directly into back of the building and unload without your activities being visible to passersby on the street. The building was built in 1912 as a consulate and the diplomat who lived here designed the house with architectural details to reflect his social standing. They include: • Wood-beamed Ceilings • Stained Glass Windows • French Doors • Hardwood Floors • Built-in Cabinetry • Wainscoting & Crown Molding • Mantel & Fireplace The house has been updated with modern conveniences and decorated in an eclectic boho style, full of color and whimsy. You enter the building into a foyer with a formal staircase on one side and entrance to the living room of this unit on the other side. The living room is separated from the dining room by a pair of wood pocket doors. The modernized kitchen has a built-in breakfast nook with access to multiple electric plugs. This area often serves as a work station for behind the scenes production team. If needed, the bedroom can be used as part of the production or a dressing area for the talent. In the garden, there are two patio tables surrounded by fruit trees, which provide both sunny and shady area for craft services or for the crew to relax. One extra big bonus: Super hi-speed internet, and a homeowner who is a certified Airbnb Super Host.
