Access to parking behind the building and use of the driveway both protected with a security gate is a big plus for unloading equipment. This 1912 building was originally a consulate. It has the architectural details of that era - spacious rooms, stained glass windows, beamed ceilings, wood floors, French doors, crown moulding - with the updates needed for our modern world. The rental includes access to two floors. The first floor has a small foyer which leads to a generous sized living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a bedroom, kitchen, office and a small bathroom. The basement has a bedroom, large bathroom, office and kitchenette. This area can be part of the general filming or a staging area for the talent or craft services. It has its own separate entrance and can also be accessed from inside the house. The backyard has a small garden and a custom built "She Shed" which can also be part of the filming or a place for the crew to relax/smoke. Bonus: You can drive directly to the back of the building and unload without your equipment and activities visible to passersby on the street. We can accommodate two vehicles which will be secured behind a 6’-tall steel gate and two vehicles on the other size of the gate in the driveway.
