About the Space
TV interviews, independent films, commercials, music videos and photoshoots have all been filmed here. Access to parking behind the building and use of the driveway both protected with a security gate is a big plus for unloading equipment. This 1912 building was originally a consulate. It has the architectural details of that era - spacious rooms, stained glass windows, beamed ceilings, wood floors, French doors, crown moulding - with the updates needed for our modern world. The rental includes access to two floors. The first floor has a small foyer which leads to a generous sized living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a bedroom, kitchen, office and a small bathroom. The basement has a bedroom, large bathroom, office and kitchenette. This area can be part of the general filming or a staging area for the talent or craft services. It has its own separate entrance and can also be accessed from inside the house. The backyard has a small garden and a custom built "She Shed" which can also be part of the filming or a place for the crew to relax/smoke. Bonus: You can drive directly to the back of the building and unload without your equipment and activities visible to passersby on the street. We can accommodate two vehicles which will be secured behind a 6’-tall steel gate and two vehicles on the other size of the gate in the driveway. One extra big bonus: Super hi-speed internet and the homeowner who lives on the premises, is a certified Airbnb Super Host, so she experienced in being accommodating and resourceful.

- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Judy was extremely accommodating. She let us in the night before to drop equipment off. Judy welcomed us into her home and gave us a tour. Most of her home was available for us to access and use which was extremely helpful. The crew even had lunch outside in Judy's gorgeous garden. We had to move a lot in Judy's home to set up the interview shot, and she was laid back about this. Judy communicated with us throughout the day, and when she wasn't present, someone was there to answer any questions or give us advice. We received answers to queries instantly. We overstayed our booking and Judy was accommodating whilst we finished up working and packing away Judy's home was spacious and extremely versatile. We filmed two completely different interview setups in the same space. The interviews looked really beautiful, thanks to Judy's lovely home and spacious interiors. We had parking on Judy's gated drive. The house felt extremely secure which made us feel comfortable as we had a lot of expensive gear
