Perfectly nestled in West Berkeley, just a short walk from Aquatic Park and the Fourth Street shops. Our modern, industrial, and vibrant event space can be used for a variety of events including holiday/office parties, book signings, birthday gatherings, holiday craft sales, musical performances. Space comes with access to the Main Room or the "Hot Seat Room," the kitchen, and the patio. Security Deposit: Our venue requires a $500 security deposit to cover security, damage, and additional cleaning fees. If the space is returned to its previous state per our expectations, your security will be returned in full. Any breaches to the rules listed below may result in a pull from your security deposit. Security Deposit Payment will be accepted either by a written check made out to "Creative Arts Gallery LLC" or through Venmo to the account “@workstationwb” under the account name "Work Station." The check or Venmo transfer must be sent within 10 days after you book the space in order to secure the space. Setup & Breakdown Please make sure to account for setup and breakdown of your event when requesting to book. Access to the event space begins at your booked time. Please note that we do not provide tablecloths. Cleaning Expectations According to Peerspace's Cleaning Terms: Your cleaning fee will pay for the removal of garbage and basic cleaning of the space, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and washing dishes. Outside of the cleaning fee: As a guest, you are responsible for: -Returning any rearranged furniture or decor to its original place -Returning borrowed amenities to where they were found in the space, placing used dishes in sink or dishwasher and general tidying up of the space prior to departure -Removal of excess garbage that would result in hauling expenses -Major repairs and damages (Ex. scuff marks, furniture, carpet or floor stains, etc) Beyond the items disposed of in the trash, leftover catering materials such as, but not limited to, sternos canned heat, large aluminum containers, leftover food and beverages, MUST be taken home and may not be left at the venue. Any breach in the following expectations will be pulled from the security deposit as additional cleaning or damage fees. Children Children under the age of 13 must have a designated supervisor, parent or guardian throughout the event. If you know your event will have multiple children in attendance, plan for a supervisor of the children at all times. Alcohol Limitations Under the law, the consumption, serving, and sale of alcohol are prohibited to the public if a fee is charged at the door at our establishment. Private events based on invitation, not publically advertised, may serve and consume alcohol but no sale of alcohol is permitted without the presence of a catering license or liquor license. Catering Outside food and catered food is welcomed. Catering company must have their catering license with them and able to be presented if asked. Catering company and guests are responsible for the materials brought with catering as well as leftovers. As previously mentioned, beyond the items disposed of in the trash, leftover catering materials such as, but not limited to, sternos canned heat, large aluminum containers, leftover food and beverages, MUST be taken home and may not be left at the venue. OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. Please refer to Peerspace’s Terms and Conditions for all other rules.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

This space was perfect for my companies Christmas party! Our host was more than accomadating, they made sure we had everything we needed and moved the furniture around so that we could fit everything that we wanted to do in the space. We would definitely book this space again for future parties or meetings. Kiannna was a pleasure to work with and was always available if I had any questions or concerns.
