COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

Since we live in the home, we are very careful to keep everything clean and sanitized. We clean before and after every event, disinfecting all faucets, light switches, door knobs, etc. We encourage outdoor activities / events for safety.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

About the Space

Looking for a unique setting for your film or photo shoot? Consider our custom-built Italian-style farmhouse on 10 acres with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Located on a 1-mile long private road (only 5 other homes) in a rural setting, the location offers peace and quiet and nature-filled surroundings. The house features large rooms with unique architectural features, high ceilings and lots of natural light. In addition to the house you may utilize the yard, pool, large 3-stall barn with hay room and tack room, 3-car garage and 10-acre property of rolling hills, oak trees and boulders. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, separate mud room and laundry room; wide hallways. Large outside patio with seating. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces. May be able to accommodate larger groups depending on number of vehicles. We are happy to include a pre-production / location scouting / planning visit prior to the event at no additional charge.

Parking description

3-5 cars can fit in the driveway, though cars parked first will be blocked by later-arriving cars. There is a turn-out spot on the south side of the house to allow cars to turn around before heading up the driveway. In addition, there is space for parking 3-4 cars on the road (at the top of our driveway). Please park along the right side of the road, leaving room for cars to drive by. Finally, parking is available at the barn (take the right fork in the driveway).

Space has natural light

Lighting description

Huge windows and French doors. Some windows have window coverings, others to do. There is a blackout shade in the den / office (though no covering on the 3 upper windows in that room. Great room, master bedroom and breakfast nook get intense morning sun (and a spectacular view of the sunrise), but are shaded by mid-day. Guest bedroom and den/office get afternoon sun. There is a motorized awning over the back patio that can provide shade as well as blocking some of the sunlight into the great room.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Very little ambient noise other than a neighbor's dog who barks occasionally (though located more than 1/4 mile away). Lot of birds frogs, crickets and, sometimes, coyotes. Very little traffic as we are the second to the last house on a private, dead-end road.

No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property. Any modifications to the home or property (including moving of furniture) require prior written approval. Activities must not disturb neighbors. Certificate of insurance must be provided and guests are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits.

Yes, I would book again.

The space is a hidden gem in the foothills just outside of Fresno. We spent most of our time shooting in the outdoor space near the back of the house, which includes a pool overlooking grassy hills dotted within native oaks and mountains off in the distance. There are also horse pens and stables on the property that are perfect for a western vibe. There are plenty of great shots and so many textures to use as background. We did not use the indoor space much, but the house is stylish, large, and clean. The owners are so friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. They were very helpful with a few of my company’s scheduling hiccups at the last minute and we truly appreciate their flexibility. Was an overall great experience.
