OVERVIEW: 775 sq. ft. 1 bedroom All wooden floors. White walls that can be changed if necessary. Building is 100 years old with original wood flooring and crown molding. East facing living room French windows with natural light toward downtown LA. The entire street is very New York feeling. Apartment is on the top/6th floor (elevator and stair access). No A/C but there is a large ceiling fan in the living room and in the bedroom. A portable A/C unit can be provided, if necessary. PROPS: Anything shown in the apartment photos can be used as props or set decoration. You are welcome to bring your own things to fill the space or move things around to create the look you want. Bedroom has a petite dresser and full size bed. Living room has a standard couch, mid century coffee table, two black leather club chairs, mid century lamp. Dining room nook has a small wooden table with two chairs. Kitchen has original cabinetry, so if your film is period and you need an icebox, there is one! And of course, a contemporary fridge, if need be. LOCATION / NEARBY: Located in the center of Koreatown. There's an awesome new food court called Platform 35 Market Hall a block away and tons of restaurant options for lunch. Jon's is a block away for crafty and the 99 Cent Store is less than a block away for any last minute, affordable shoot needs. The Line Hotel and the HMS Bounty (you have to check it out - a nautical style dive bar/pub that's been around since the 40s) are both two blocks away for drinks. **Note that the windows are not sound proof, so some street noise can be heard. But, we are located on the top floor far from the street, so neighbors usually cannot be heard and street noise is not that loud. Video productions are welcome in the space, but book with the understanding that you may experience some background noise** TALENT/EQUIPMENT HOLDING: If you need an additional holding space, there is one available two blocks away and can be negotiated. Also, there is a lovely skyline view of the city from this space (on the 12th floor of the building). Reach out with any questions, and I'd be happy to show you the space if interested!
