Please carefully review our host rules.
COVID protocols: Please note that the number of guests permitted may be limited by public health restrictions depending on the date of your event. Please contact us to find out more.
Set-up and Breakdown: We recommend at least one hour of set-up/breakdown time total for medium to large events.
Please remember to include set-up and clean-up time in your total booking time. For example, decorations, food arrangements, extra sound systems, extra tables, among other things, often take longer to set up and clean up than anticipated. Please note that we do not provide tablecloths. Access to the event space is only during your booked time. Any time you are using the space outside of your booked time will be an additional fee.
Cleaning Expectations: Your cleaning fee covers our basic janitorial services, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying the dishwasher. It does not include cleaning food service items or disposing of supplies or other items you brought to the premises.
As a guest, you are responsible for returning the space to the same condition in which you found it. This includes:
Returning any rearranged furniture or decor to its original place
Returning borrowed amenities to where they were found in the space and generally tidying up the space before departure
If you used Workstation dishes, glasses, or other kitchen items, they must be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher. Disposing of trash and recycling in the designated bins. Any excess garbage or recycling that doesn’t fit in the designated bins must be removed from the premises.
Removing catering materials including, but not limited to, stereos, fuel, serving platters, leftover food, and beverages. These may not be left on the premises.
Failure to follow these cleaning rules, and any damage to the space (including the floors, walls, furniture, or appliances), may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

By entering an event or program at Workstation West Berkley, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.

Alcohol Limitations: Under the law, the consumption, serving, and sale of alcohol are prohibited to the public if a fee is charged at the door at our establishment. Private events based on invitation only and not publically advertised may serve and consume alcohol. If you or your caterer has the appropriate liquor license and you wish to charge for alcohol, you can discuss this in advance with Workstation staff to determine if we can accommodate this request.
Catering: Outside food and catered food are welcomed. Catering companies must have their catering license with them and be able to present it if asked. Catering companies and guests are responsible for all food, beverage, and supplies brought to the premises, all of which must be removed from the premises after the event.
