We're part of a unique Victorian house converted into working spaces. The house is designated as part of a unique and historic district of San Rafael. San Rafael is the eldest city in Marin County. We're minutes away from the hustle of the downtown area but are located at the end of a secluded street within earshot of all the action. We consider our location to be a blend of a busy/mellow area ;) Our unit is located in the lower half and has great constant light. Cement floorings with white walls and mid-century modern furniture contrast with the timeless and bold character of the Victorian house. We co-share restroom facilities and have tons of storage space. Our space also offers coffee machines, free k-cups, tea, water included in the rental, plus a mini-fridge. Space is flexible for meeting spaces, or photoshoots. We're new to the Peerspace game but would be so honored to be considered for your meeting of 10 maybe a few more. It is available for rent to creative professionals- photographers, hair/makeup artists, videographers, and other professionals- for use as a creative studio or meeting space. Features of the space: -Approximately 700 square feet, 400 ft shooting space -Hardwood Floors -Lots of natural light through large windows covered in sheers -White walls to increase light reflection -Meeting space with cute seating area + coffee table -Wardrobe rack -Private restroom -Vanity Area for h/mua -AC/heat unit FAQ -Does the studio have WIFI? Yes we do! -Can I bring lighting equipment, backdrops, or other larger equipment? Yes. You may bring whatever you need for your shoot, just ensure that you take proper precautions to ensure no damage is incurred to the studio. -Is there an elevator? We are located on the 2nd story and does not have elevator. There's a driveway leading to our suite, that you can pull up to in case you need to load material and gear. -What is the maximum number of people permitted? Rental rates are based on a maximum of 15 people on the premises at once. For larger groups please inquire with your needs for availability/rates. -How does natural light change throughout the day? The most even natural light occurs between 11-3pm. In the morning the light is plentiful but is direct and does create window projections on the floor in front of the shooting space. Please plan accordingly. {PLEASE NOTE} Smart Train does pass by on train tracks every hour. Noise is unnoticeable.

R. K. booked a photo shoot for 3 people
This is a great space, for daylight or strobe-lighting, and it is convenient in every way! You get at least three 'sets', for shooting different scenes/stories, in one space. Tanya is welcoming and very informative, and generous. Being a photographer herself, she anticipates a fellow photographer's needs. The diffusing curtains, props, attire add-on, and reflector, etc., are true bonuses. The surrounding space is well-appointed and very clean. Yes, of course, I would book this space again!

This studio is adorable and Tanya was an amazing host and really helpful. She allowed me to use the wings in the studio and most of the props there too. There is parking in fronto of the house and I felt really private too. Absolutely loved this place.
