This early 1900's warehouse loft was formerly a Prohibition era distillery, then a spring factory for several decades, and was most recently converted into a gorgeous loft space with tremendous natural, north-facing light and an inspiring, clean aesthetic
The space has a wood burning fireplace and custom woodwork throughout. Shelving, walls, ceiling, exposed beams, pendant lighting, and bricks are painted a bright white which allows the plant life and green furnishes to pop. Overall, the goal of "Campsite" is to create a soothing environment which enhances both living and working experiences.
The location is directly in the heart of Wicker Park with easy free parking along both sides of the building on Wood or Haddon Streets. The space features tall north-facing windows and steps leading up from the street directly into the space. I don't do events generally and prefer to host film and photography shoots or company off-sites during the daytime.
Weekends are available but please inquire first because I have residents who live in this space and I need to gain their permission and allow them ample time to make alternate plans.
The kitchen, which occupies a 18ft x 18ft space is often a primary focus for users and very easy to work with. It is situated in the corner of the loft on the street side where there are 4 large east facing windows bringing in an abundance of light. We have a well equipped kitchen including blender, food processor, instapot, stick blender, sous vide, air fryer, mixing bowls, pots, and pans, etc.
