About the Space

Our unique, mid-century modern home offers a wide variety of settings, both indoors and out, as it is nestled on an acre in Old Topanga Canyon. With an open floor plan joining the kitchen, family room and living room, shooting angles and opportunities are vast. There are many large windows and skylights, offering beautiful natural light setups throughout the day. In addition, the indoor and outdoor spaces connect for seamless shots. The setting provides breathtaking views of Topanga Canyon. Indoors it is quiet and serene. Outdoors one hears silence and the gentle hush of nature, with virtually no interruptions by man-made noises or sounds of traffic, either on the ground or in the sky.

We have large windows in the kitchen, living room and family room. Brightest times of day are between about 9-5. There are drapes on the bedroom windows.

Electrical system description

Circuit breaker is in a closet. The power rating is for a normal house, and is a 200 amp. There are grounded power outlets in every room.

General Rules

No smoking permitted on site. No vaping indoors. Outside catering is allowed. No alcoholic beverages, or drugs are permitted to be consumed on premises. This is a quiet neighborhood: noise levels must be maintained within normal neighborhood requirements, especially if shooting outdoors. No Fire, no sparks, and no fire hazards such as fireworks are allowed on premises. No animals will be permitted without prior permission. We will require a list of all persons who will be onsite, and the times during which they will be onsite. Parking is only permitted in designated areas.

Standard $1 million policy.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Number 1 is to handle things carefully and safely. Then piano may not be moved outdoors. Smaller items may be moved outside, with prior written permission, and placed securely outside.

No smoke machines allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

There is a Ring security doorbell on the front gate. It stays on, and is solely used for security.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

We use professional cleaners who ventilate, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and clean all surfaces and launder all shared linens on high heat washing machine and dry cycles. We disinfect all dishes and silverware on high heat dishwasher cycle. We provide hand sanitizer onsite as well.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
