Magnificent dance ballroom, fully remodeled and opened in December 2019, conveniently located on Elm Street in the heart of downtown Bethesda, MD. The studio has 2,000 sq. ft. of open space and features wood floors and mirrors throughout, a balcony, natural light and is easily accessible via public transportation. It is beautifully decorated and painted with a stylish concoction of fuchsia, silver and gray, spotlights and ballroom-style chandeliers to provide a beautiful backdrop to any event, photoshoot or corporate offsite. Our ballroom is equipped with professional audio equipment, large screen and projector, dimmable lighting, tables and chairs. The main floor can be separated in two rooms or be used as one open space and the lobby is set up to double as a bar for events. Additional amenities include high speed WI-FI, zoned air-conditioning, three bathrooms. Our past clients – we have hosted a variety of events, including corporate meetings, offsites and retreats, weddings, birthdays, bar-mitzvahs/bat-mitzvahs, elopements, etc. We would love to host your event, whatever you may be planning! ADDITIONAL SERVICES + RENTALS Additional equipment/services available for rental in the studio: - A/V package – four 200-watt Alto speakers, 2 DJ consoles, a wireless microphone, 6 moving head spotlights, a 120" retractable screen and a projector - $250 flat fee. - Chairs – 100 chairs onsite - $2 per chair (rent, setup and stacking included in fee). - Tables – 10 five-foot tables onsite (seating 8-10 people) and three rectangle tables - $10 per table (rent, setup and stacking included in fee). - Photographer – we have two photographers on our staff directory available for shoot your event - $175/hr. - Videograhper – we have a videographer on our staff directory available for shoot your event - $175/hr. - Catering - although we do not offer on-site catering, we do have preferred vendors that we work with and are happy to provide you. We are also open to working with an outside caterer after pre-approval. CONVENIENCE Our ballroom in Bethesda is located on the second floor of a two storied building. There is no elevator. Stopping with blinkers on for DAY-OF delivery is possible for a few minutes. No long-term parking is available or permissible on Elm street in front of the building where our studio is located and attendants do issue parking violations. Offsite parking Metered street parking is widely available in downtown Bethesda as well as many public parking options a block or two away from the studio. Here are a few parking lots that are large, close and typically available most of the day: - Garage 57 - Bethesda - Elm Garage - 4910 Elm St, Bethesda, MD 20814 - Bethesda Corinthian - Lot #4 - 4800 Hampden Ln, Bethesda, MD 20814 - Colonial Parking - 4950 Elm St, Bethesda, MD 20814 Public transportation - Metro (Red line) – Bethesda Station is located 0.1 mile from the ballroom. - Bus – there are multiple bus lines/stops near the studio from and to DC/MD.
