About the Space
This is a multidisciplinary, artist-led studio dedicated to exploring the dramatic potential of constructed space through performance, film and design. The studio is located on a cobblestone street in Red Hook and is ideal for large scale work. The main floor is a 6500SF open plan with skylights and windows, 15’ ceilings, exposed brick walls, heavy timber columns and beams, and a finished plywood floor. The space is flexible for multiple uses and highly photogenic.

- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The space is large and beautiful! Photos are an excellent representation. Michael was a great host and answered all our questions promptly before we arrived, and was very helpful onsite. A few notes before you also enjoy this space: Michael will warn you it's a raw space and to come prepared, but there are folding tables, 1-2 hanging racks on wheels, and folding chairs for use in addition to a large and comfortable sitting area with couches and coffee tables. The bathrooms are large, clean and well-lit. There is a fridge and plenty of well-marked trash and recycling bins. We did bring our own extension cords and that was very helpful. It was a little chilly that day and Michael graciously accommodated our requests to turn up the thermostat. Michael recommended a list of local lunch and coffee places; you'll want to supply your own of the latter, which is very easy—a one-block walk!

We had an incredible experience filming in this studio, and we would absolutely rent the space out again. The host, Michael, was attentive and very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The space was beautiful with plenty of natural light, and it came equipped with everything we needed for a successful campaign shoot.
