Room Information: Welcome to our Creative Space. We hope your visit with is inspiring. Our space is designed to provide entrepreneurs with an environment that is free of the shared office space noise in a private secure environment. This space was designed with your needs in mind. Privacy and sound reduction are a critical element. We would like to share with you some things you need to know. Entering and Leaving: We are located on the Mahoney side street off of Oak Grove. It is the first door on the right as you approach from Oak Grove or the seventh door on the left as you approach from the parking lot. You will be parking in Lot No. 1. You must pay for parking every three hours. The City of Menlo Park is very efficient in ticketing. As you approach the building, look for the blue butterfly. That is all you will see. You will separately be given your code. That is the code you will use to enter the room. On the electronic keypad, just punch in the four digits. You will hear the lock open and just walk into the room. When leaving, just press the key that has a lock on it and the door will lock. Please make sure the door has locked. During your time here your code will allow you to come and go as needed; however, at the end of your session, your code will expire. Please keep this in mind toward the end of your FLOW session. When you arrive and leave, please provide us with your member Passport in the When you receive your code, you will also be provided the access code for the office wifi. There are electrical outlets, aplenty, many of which have USB ports built in. We know most have their own cables with them but, we have some too! The Samsung HD flat screen TV has Google Chromecast, if you need to use that service. Below the TV there are HDMI ports that connect to the TV. If you are using an Apple device, we recommend that you download Mirror for Samsung TV from the App Store. It works very nicely to put your laptop or tablet up on the big screen. There is a webcam for your use to allow for 120-degree views for conference calling. There is a shelf on the back wall that is excellently placed for the use of the webcam. Please, after you use it, pack it back together as you found it, so that next FLOW user can benefit. Two walls are whiteboard walls to provide a surface for your ideas to FLOW and be shared. White erase markers are provided, along with the eraser. Please restore them to the cradle provided. Please do not use permanent markers, as they will permanently damage the walls and you will be charged for their repair. Water is provided, so stay hydrated. There is no coffee, tea, soft drinks, vending machine or other amenities founds in larger shared office space. Those can be found in the numerous eateries in Menlo Park. Just walk out and walk down to Santa Cruz Avenue. Please, we ask that you enjoy your meal there, so that our next guest does not enjoy your meal too! The HVAC has been set at a comfortable temperature, so we ask that, even though the remote is available, you try to keep the settings as they are. The restrooms are located outside and to the right, just before the restaurant. The key is found hanging in the opening behind the door. We recommend placing the lanyard around your neck, so as not to lose the key in the restroom. We have two conference room tables and six conference room chairs, so that you can separate them and use them for smaller work groups. In the back of the room there are two comfort chairs that remain in the place. We know how people get bored sitting in one place, so we designed our space to meet those needs. The lighting is located behind the door next to where you find the restroom key. There are two sets of dimmable LED lighting. The front picture window is designed to minimize outside sound and prying ears and eyes. That is a double soundproof window system designed with the assistance of a career state department professional. The blinds are designed to be lifted from the bottom and the top. They are currently set to lift from the bottom, allowing natural light in from the top. Unless you really need more natural light, we ask that you try to leave them as they are. Please be sure to turn off the lights upon departing.
