About the Space
Our home is designed to encourage a sense of community and togetherness. It is the home of a professional musician and a writer, so it very “creative forward” in its design and layout. There are musical instruments everywhere and little nooks to sit and contemplate your creative ideas. However, we ultimately believe creativity flourishes best in collaboration with others. So, the heart center of the house is large with a grand piano and can hold around 30- 35 people or just be a great place for a small group to reconvene and share ideas. The house is full of natural, but diffused light. It has beautiful views of the Barton Creek Greenbelt Canyon with a great outdoor space for eating, lounging, and visiting with others. We are 1/2 mile from Zilker Park/Barton Springs Pool, but the backyard is secluded, private, and natural. The house is also foam insulated, so it is very quiet and has very few distractions. Great for retreats of all kinds, art or music classes, and even yoga classes (it has great hardwood floors in the large main room). It is a beautiful space for filming with a relatively neutral palate.

- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
- Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
- Space has additional space outdoors

When our non-profit saw this space, we knew it was perfect for our classical salon concert. Our music director couldn't believe his eyes when he saw that such a perfect space for this event existed. It was very popular and everyone had a lot of fun. And the hosts are about the sweetest people you'll ever meet.

I can't say enough for Alissa's help in the months leading up to our event. She answered every question we had in minutes and made us feel welcome long before we even arrived. The space was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our event !!! There were so many compliments from our guests about the decor, cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere that Alissa & Tom have created. Alissa and her husband were awesome to work with and very flexible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this space and would absolutely book again!!!

What a great space! We held a house concert here and everything was perfect. The hosts were super accommodating and even had a PA system set up for us when we arrived. Lots of really great attention to detail in this space, which made all the difference. Our guests loved it! Definitely recommend!

This house is amazing! The pictures don’t reflect the feeling you have when in this home. Everyone felt so comfortable and obviously nobody wanted to leave, lol. Alissa is absolutely wonderful to deal with. These are difficult times but she made this whole experience non stressful. Overall we had a great experience. Highly recommend!
