Natural Light Editorial Photography Space

Calling all makers, creators, and small business owners. Welcome to Humboldt County’s newest shared creative space. Featuring natural light, a fully stocked prop library and seamless paper backdrop collection as well as seasonal backdrop options, This editorial studio offers a clean and beautiful space designed to make your work come to life. Our space is excellent for photo and video shoots needing a clean, stylish and sophisticated aesthetic. Small, but spacious, this space is flexible to allow multiple types of looks in one session. Depending on the time of day, different lighting options are available. Sunrise - 11am Lighting is bright and diffused 12pm - 3pm: Lighting becomes more direct and you're able to experiment with hard shadows 4pm - Sunset: Lighting becomes warm and if you're able to catch it, we can get the most exquisite sherbert sunset lighting before the sun sets for the day. We love the spontaneity of natural lighting and hope that it ignites your creativity as much as ours. The space has 15 foot ceilings, unique fixtures, and a vintage vibe. Because of the age of the building, it does have shared bathrooms. We do have a changing space in the studio to facilitate wardrobe change, makeup, equipment storage, etc. The building itself is beautiful, but has no elevators, and the studio is up a flight of stairs. Please keep in mind it is not wheelchair accessible and carrying heavy equipment up stairs may be cumbersome. We represent photographers, models, wardrobe, and assistants that you can book á la carte if you need some help!
