About the Space

An abandoned grungy stock room just 9 miles east of Downtown LA with fully functioning power. Stained and yellowing walls and racks and racks of old electronics equipment are ready for you and your crew to take over and make your very own! This location features approximately 30+ feet of old shelving, glowing overhead florescent lights and tons of grunge, excellent for music videos and sci-fi/horror films alike. Downstairs in the same building you'll find a comfortable dining area, clean restrooms and friendly site-reps to make your shoot a breeze! Managed by filmmakers for filmmakers! Fast response times, easy scouting and knowledgeable, film-friendly site-reps. --Cleaning Fee-- Please note, our cleaning fee is high due to our required on site management team that must be present during every shoot. A portion of this fee is also used for general repairs and maintenance. Due to the ageing nature of the location, please expect a reasonable level of grunge in the space (it will not be spotless). --Scouting-- We are open for location scouting between 9am and 2pm Monday through Friday by appointment only. Off hours scouting subject to availability and additional charges may apply. --Furnishings-- We highly encourage productions to come scout our location. Shelving and items on the shelves is "as-is". We do not guarantee items other than the shelves themselves will be there on your shoot. If you don't see it on your scout it's not included with the rental! No adult filming No pets No cooking No alcohol No nails in the bathroom wallpaper (teal striped) this will be billed as damage to wallpaper No staple guns or wood screws in ANY walls No painting without permission Use of restroom(s) for a crew of 15 people or less is allowed Rental of the Stockroom includes the stockroom, use (sometimes shared use) of the breakroom and the garage for loading (or the front of the building if the garage is in use by a production in the apartment location). Absolutely no smoking inside without prior permission (only granted for in-scene use). We will charge a $200 fine if we discover any remnants of smoking after your shoot (cigarette smell, butts, ashes etc.). Items in the stock room may be used as background props but may not be used as hands props without permission from the on-set site-rep or AJ. Parts on the stock room shelves shall not be moved or operated without permission and/or instruction from the on-set site-rep. Any damage to the walls or items within the lab or stockroom will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace The booking time will start the moment you enter the building and will finish when the last member of your crew exits the building for the final time. By default there are approximately 15 parking spaces behind and around the side of the building. No nails in the walls No staple guns or wood-screws on ANY walls Small tacks are the only wall penetration acceptable. Any larger will result in charges for damages. Stockroom items (on shelves) not to be moved or altered without prior permission No squibs or explosives without written permission. No blood splatter without written permission indicating which wall will be splattered. Blood must be cleaned ater use.
