About the Space
Welcome to your dream soundstage! This epic brick wall stage comes complete with lighting grid, retro cage lights and an awesome gunmetal rolling wood top desk, perfect for your youtube channel, product video, branded content or feature film production. Need to shoot against pure black? Just flip the set! The backwall is an a black infinity wall primed and ready for your shoot. On top of that, the stage is air-conditioned and sound insulated inside a larger building so you can stay cool, comfortable and street noise free while you work. In the same building you'll find a comfortable dining area, clean restrooms a handful of other exciting locations and friendly site-reps to make your shoot a breeze! Managed by filmmakers for filmmakers! Fast response times, easy scouting and knowledgeable, film-friendly site-reps. --Cleaning Fee-- Please note, our cleaning fee is high due to our required on site management team that must be present during every shoot. A portion of that fee is used to clean and maintain the space. We vary our hourly rate based on crew size and have no hourly minimum but this number is a fixed cost that applies to every production. Feel free to ask us any questions about this in advance of booking, we want to be absolutely transparent about all our rates/fees with our clients. --Overtime Policy-- Please note: Peerspace's policy is to charge 1.5x overtime for any hours outside your booking. If you go one hour over and paid $100/hr, that hour would be $150! As a location, it's very important to us that we have an accurate idea of the exact number of hours you intend to book. If you contact us up to 24hrs in advance we will be happy to extend your booking hours at the base rate to avoid the higher overtime rate. Otherwise, overtime will be billed at 1.5x your booking rate. --Scouting-- We are open for location scouting between 9am and 2pm Monday through Friday by appointment only. Off hours scouting subject to availability and additional charges may apply. --Furnishings-- We highly encourage productions to come scout our location. Shelving and items on the shelves is "as-is". We do not guarantee items other than the shelves themselves will be there on your shoot. If you don't see it on your scout it's not included with the rental! - Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Studio was good but although the studio is listed as $100, there is a $175 cleaning fee when you book. This is extremely exorbitant and unreasonable seeing as how I left the studio almost exactly as it was when I walked in and the only “preparation” was turning on the lights. I feel ripped off. If that’s what’s required for the operation then it should be included in what’s originally listed.

This was our second full week booking the studio, and it was a pleasant experience. They have an incredible amount of gear to rent and the space was great. Will be back in the future.

The Sound Stage was great!! The faux brick wall background was great on camera and there was plenty of ways to light it thanks to the grid hanging in the studio. The on site rep was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We needed to rent additional equipment the day of on site and they were very helpful and accommodating. The only note of caution is that the wood floor was laid with some sort of tack that was seeping through the floor and caused our shoes to be VERY noisy. For the most part this wasn't an issue, but if you need to be moving while sound is recording be cautious.
