We are renting our bright & spacious Brooklyn loft for small professional photo/film shoots and daytime events. These rentals occur at the rate of $125/hour for all time in the space (from setup to breakdown) with a 4-hour minimum plus cleaning fee. Generally we accept bookings falling in the range of 7am until 9pm. We are in a residential building and seek small, professional groups (7 people or less) with minimal equipment. ATMOSPHERE: The loft is in a 1900’s renovated factory building on a quiet street in Brooklyn. We have 12’ vaulted ceilings with many west-facing windows, allowing for great natural light! We’ve decorated our home with unique and handmade furniture, vintage bohemian decor, musical instruments, a colorful library, original artworks, and many indoor & outdoor plants. Velvet window curtains may be drawn to have the entire loft darkened, and a double sheer curtain allows for softer, diffused light. Decor also includes a leather sectional sofa that seats many, rustic farmhouse dining tables, hand-made coffee tables, and unique seating throughout the space. The private, (600 sq. ft!) terrace features an outdoor dining table, lounge areas, a robust (spring/summer) rooftop garden, and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. ACCESS: Your crew will have access to the entire loft during your booking: 2 full restrooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 storage studio, living and dining areas, open floor-plan kitchen, and private outdoor terrace. Terrace rules include: no major productions/filming/photo, no outdoor lighting, no generators, and no parties. Most interior furniture is movable/on wheels, the lights on dimmer switches, and plenty of power outlets/strips along our walls if bringing lighting. We allow crews to rearrange some furniture & decor as needed, as long as they are handled carefully and restored EOD. We offer a fully-equipped kitchen, full-size fridge and pantry for guest use, local lunch recommendations, spring water, tea/coffee, and a sanitation station. Extremely fast & reliable WiFi internet connection (as well as 20ft. ethernet if plugging in) and a bluetooth speaker are available. Back studio has wardrobe rack, steamers, step ladders, W/D for your use. Location is convenient in that we have a coffee shop and grocery store right downstairs. We kindly ask that crews bring all equipment in for the day (may be stored in studio) and maintain respect when outside of our loft (on terrace, in public hallways) as we are in a residential building. ARRIVAL: Crews may unload directly in front of building, double-parked on one-way street. Free street parking can usually be found within 1-2 blocks of our street, with a parking garage nearby if not. Additionally closest subway station is 5-min walk away. Building/loft access is via lock box. Crews/equipment take 2 passenger elevators (5' x 4' x 8') up to our loft. (I provide more arrival notes once a booking is confirmed). SOUND: Our resident sound engineer vouches that our building stays very quiet, especially for NYC! There are no hospitals, fire stations, airports, or schools directly nearby, and we have quiet neighbors. We generally take on small groups that capture sound and have received compliments of how quiet it stays! Additionally, the outdoor deck protects us from much street noise, and the street below is not a major thoroughfare. To reiterate, we are currently only accepting small groups (>7) who bring up minimal equipment/paired-down kits. Again, we are in a residential building and do not book large groups who bring up truckloads of gear. Please consider this before inquiring! Please contact me with any additional questions or to submit a booking request, and I will respond as quickly as possible! Our calendar does not always reflect our true availability (we are cross-listed across platforms), so please confirm dates with me. Thank you!

Stephanie is very responsive to messages on Peerspace. She was also very detailed with the instructions on how to locate the place and get in which was very helpful. The spot itself is very beautiful and clean, lots of colorful objects, beautiful décor, and a beautiful outdoor patio with a great view of Manhattan.
