About the Space
The Campbell Dome House is a wholly unique, mid-century, modern masterpiece. The Schwedler Dome structure was built in 1968 by Bob D. Campbell and features a tropical courtyard, in-ground pool, and a classic mid-century modern aesthetic. The interior space features an open layout with large living room, galley kitchen, sitting room and dining room. The house includes a mechanical wall that lowers into the basement and allows the living room to open directly into the courtyard. The courtyard is south facing and receives direct sunlight all year, keeping the space tropical in the summer and comfortable in the winter. The result is a lush, green space filled with light and plants of every variety - including a 25 foot tall rubber tree, banana tree, an avocado tree and numerous cacti. The home and courtyard are perfect for photo shoots, film shoots, small gatherings, business retreats, and any other low-key activity you may be planning. You have to see it to believe that this gem has been tucked away in old, downtown Overland Park for more than 55 years. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Amazing space, incredible hosts! They work with you to make your dream come true!! Super flexible- super responsive! We got married here last night and EVERYONE who has seen pictures or videos are asking where we had it! 10/10 unique space to make a truly perfect day even more magical! Thank you all SO MUCH!

Jeffery was a great host and was perfectly responsive. The space was lovely and what we expected. The dome atrium space is really fun and the home itself is modern yet cozy making it a nice fit for our work retreat.
