Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC. We ask that all guests sanitize their hands upon entry. Hand sanitizer and disinfectants provided. To help limit the spread of the coronavirus, Peerspace has provided guidelines for hosts so guests can book with peace of mind.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

This is the perfect place to host art exhibitions, team meetings, off-sites and so much more! We love to showcase the art, history, and cultural richness of the African Diaspora. This space was designed for versatility, with chic elements and a Pan-African flare. This space offers multiple seating areas for teams to break out. If needed, decor may be rearranged to create an ideal space for workshops, classes, pop up shops, or product launches as well. The space is both cozy and modern. There's a large, open central area with a beautiful front mesquite floored room facing the street. Up to 40 cars can fit reasonably in the shared parking lot, respective to the other nearby businesses

General Rules

All setup and breakdown time needed for events must be included in the total booking charge. There will be additional charges if you use the space for a longer period of time than you have reserved it for. Smoking is not allowed. Glitter is not allowed. Confetti is not allowed. If we find glitter / confetti in the space you will be charged $75. You may decorate the space, but it must be cleaned up at the end of your event. Use wall-safe tape only (Scotch tape & 3M command strips agree with our walls). Decorations that damage the space will incur an additional fee. DJs are not allowed. Extremely loud music is not allowed. Renters are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep reasonable noise levels at all times during the event. There is no outdoor space here. We ask smokers to smoke on the Hamilton Street side and for no-one to congregate on the Luquer Street side during the party so as not to disturb the neighbors. Please respect our neighbors and these rules. Everything you bring in must go out with you! If the space is not left clean, there is a $200 cleaning fee. It doesn't have to be immaculate, but you must at least sweep and wipe down the counters and tables. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or left-behind items.

Cancellation Policy

Grace period

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
