Built in 1932 by a Chicago mobster, over the past 100 years the Castle has served as an underground casino, speakeasy, high-end restaurant, riding academy, residence, and since 1983 a world class recording studio.
The building sits on a 32 acre plot of land made up of sprawling grass fields and a cedar forest creeping up a limestone hill in the back. Maintained walking trails lead to a clearing on the top of the hill which offers an incredible view of the valley below.
The interior of the Castle consists of the main tracking room, the piano room, the "stone" room, a full kitchen and lounge, and the control room.
