Hotel Astoria was built in 1921 and constructed to be the tallest building on the Oregon Coast. The Ruins is located in the heart of downtown Astoria just three blocks from restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The space features floor to ceiling natural light, historic architecture & crown moulding and an enchanting ambiance of an era gone by. The Ruins has been restored to its natural beauty without compromising the authenticity of the historic structure. **WE DO NOT PROVIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS** Peerspace adds those amenities automatically. Facilities and Capacity: 2200 sq ft The space is two stories tall and at the center are eight corinthian columns the rise to the ceiling and encircle a stunning mezzanine. The venue has Gothic details and a wall of windows for natural light. The space can accommodate 150 seated guests with a max capacity of 250. The venue has a grand entrance, low profile stage, serving bar, restrooms and so many unique touches. Features: - Dimmable lighting - Functional kitchen - Large floor-to-ceiling windows - Changing area There are two restrooms on the first floor. We do not have an elevator to the 2nd floor as this is a historic building. There will always be an on-site manager present in case you need any assistance throughout your booking. The space is a converted hotel originally built in the late 1800's and has many original qualities still intact. We are located in downtown Astoria next to many restaurants, bars and the waterfront.

Our space is a 100 year+ historic property. Please respect our space as it is very old and cannot easily be fixed. We require no smoking in the building and no noise after 10pm. Pets are allowed :) OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke.
