Mr. Johnson built the house for his former wife a seagoing enthusiast, very discreet marine influence prevails throughout the decor with a spiral staircase and stained glass window. The courtyard built of lime and sandstone with fossils imbedded, the castle is an imposing structure. A sculpture of a man and his dog sitting on a bench reading the newspaper. The sculpture, by Seward Johnson, Jr, is entitled "On Top of the News". The roof alone is made of 500 tons of stone imported from the Cotswolds England.
