About the Space

About the Space Welcome to a home many are sure to love. Located on the border of both the northeast and southeast quadrants of our Nation's Capitol, Washington, DC. Inside you will find a 988 sq. ft. 3 level home that offers an intentional zen, warm, modern aesthetic that is inviting to all. Enjoy the abundance of natural light with a unique living room coupled with an intimate yet cozy dining area with customizable amenities to personalize your event or gathering. The space also includes all stainless steel appliances, 1 full bathroom (with tub/shower combo) with shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser, wood floors in kitchen and carpet in all other rooms, large and often 2-3 windows in count for every room. Also included, is a great size front and back yard best suited for relaxing and or watching the night stars. The space offers convenience for 3 economy cars or two mid-sized vehicles in the street parking spaces available in the front of the home. It can also be parking that 1 large truck can conveniently load and unload production equipment. Space can serve as a back drop to film pilots, feature films, fashion/bridal engagements, wedding, graduation photo shoot, web series, cooking demos, brand commercial, retreats, work meetings and more. The home would make for wonderful: team meetings, off-sites, retreats, product demos, focus groups, workshops, script readings, church gatherings, book clubs, game nights, film productions, launches, pop-ups and more.

Lighting description

The windows are long and wide and require customized blinds, which can be used to control the natural lighting coming into the home. The time of the day the light in the home is the brightest would be around 12 noon to 1pm EST.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

Occasionally one can hear the neighbors' dogs barking. The street in which the space is located is not on a busy street. The appliances do make some noise but would consider it to be minimal white noise.

Equipment loading description

Yes there is a loading zone in front of the home. The entrance would require a portable ramp in order to adequately load equipment into the space. The loading trucks if more than one would have to be moved as the space available for parking can only accommodate one truck.

Electrical system description

Two to three outlets are located in each room of the space. The circuit breaker is located in the second room in the basement.

General Rules

~No pets allowed - unless a service animal to assist someone who is differently abled ~No illegal substances - They are strictly prohibited and will result in being evicted and banned from the property for future bookings. Law enforcement may also be called. ~Lifestyle parties of any kind are also strictly prohibited ~No smoking of any kind on the premise ~No frying allowed on the premise as it may trigger the smoke alarms ~No glitter, confetti or smoke machine may be used on the premise ~No entry to off-limit areas (2 bedrooms upstairs and laundry room area downstairs) ~No excess people - if there is a significant variance in the amount of people discussed during reservation, additional fees or removal from premise with possible banning from future bookings. *I value transparency and am willing to work with all parties, however, I cannot accommodate what I am not aware of. Furniture and decorations may be moved

Some wall decorations cannot be removed while others can.....furniture can be moved from the building if carefully handled and protected. Several photographs of the space would be needed prior to doing so in order for all furniture to be put back in the position and condition it was found in.

Recording devices by Ring are utilized in the front and back entrance of home and will remain on at all times.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

The space is cleaned thoroughly with disinfectants to all areas especially those areas with high traffic touch points.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Yes, I would book again.

My event was a Gender reveal for my daughter. Gessie' s was very nice and responsive to anything I asked. The home was absolutely fantastic, pictures definitely don't show everything or how much space there actually is. If she would have us, I would & will definitely rent her space in the future. I am a true believer in treating someone else's home as it is yours. Thank you GESSIE 😊
