Creative Harbor - City/Loft Studio and Event Space in Salem, MA

Parking on-site and ~15min walk from Salem commuter rail. By Car, use the entrance with the security guard booth and park in the first lot to your right. (If staying 2+ hours skip the first lot, go straight and park out back by the registry of deeds. The back entrance is by Fringe salon, through door H.)

There is some noise from neighbors in the building but it's not constant. I face the parking lot, so there is some noise from the loading dock but that's sporadic, it's not constant street noise. The AC units do make some noise. They can be turned on/off by the renter as needed. I have had several successful rentals for video production including the filming of documentary interviews in the space.

Elevator, Freight Elevator, Stairs

There is a loading zone with ramp as well as truck height loading dock. You park to unload and then move the vehicle to free visitor parking.

There is a changing area and a hallway and seating nook in addition to the large open space.

Renters are not permitted to shoot in the common areas of the buildings, only inside the studio. There is a small locked storage space inside the studio but all open areas are available for shooting/staging.

The space has two high capacity dedicated circuits that can be use for AC, or for your photoshoot needs. Should you trip a circuit you'd call me and I'd send the building management over to take care of it. They are very responsive when there is a blown fuse.

• No smoking. • No excessive noise (beyond music at reasonable volume) • Studio door is to remain closed during rental activity to prevent a noise nuisance to other tenants. • Carry out trash beyond what fits in a regular kitchen-size barrel. • Leave studio as it was when you entered. • No attaching anything to walls without prior permission. • No use of glitter, small confetti, or anything else that will get trapped in floorboards. • Any nude models must have a blanket or other barrier between them and the furniture and floor. A $100+ cleaning fee will be accessed for any renter who breaks the above rules and/or causes damage to the space. Actual rental activity must match the event described in booking. Overtime will be billed at 1.5x the regular rate if available. Attention Boudoir Photographers! Any rental that involves partial nudity requires a conversation about the nature of your content. Fine Art content is allowed, other events involving nudity are prohibited. The space has a private dressing area without camera. The main space IS monitored by Ring security cameras.

Photographers and videographers should carry their own liability insurance in addition to what Peerspace provides.

Furniture can be moved within the space. All items must be lifted or moved with dolly. You are not permitted to drag items around risking excessive damage to floors.
