A modest, local wine & beer bar, famous for being host to the inner circles of the acoustic, vernacular, cultural, old-time, and jazz music scene. 1642 is the go-to watering hole and home base for these musicians and the music-loving community. The owner, Liz, has kept it going for over ten years. It offers a rare ambiance you don't find nowadays, rustic and industrial, moody and rich, gorgeous by sunset and candlelight at night. Minimal in-person interaction and no contact from public on bar items, products, furniture. Bar is open only for retail takeout purchase of wine and beer (no dine-in or al fresco). Guests are allowed to use the restroom (by request) which is cleaned daily (only 3-5 guests max might use on a daily basis).
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
