THE SHORT VERSION: We’ve been remodeling our backyard for the last year to accommodate creatives and events here on Peerspace. EVERYTHING is brand new and we’re excited to see what you do with our new place! We remodeled our entire backyard; Upgraded the pool, added a pool heater, built two decks, high-end artificial grass, terracotta tiles surrounding pool & yard, outdoor jungle shower, umbrellas, lounge chairs, egg chair, “ground lounge,” potted plants, thatched (tiki) roof, Spanish/jungalow casita (read below), surround sound speakers, outdoor up lighting, tree lanterns, ice bath, and even a commercial ice machine! It is the perfect place for your next event. We absolutely love our MF’n home and we are excited to share it with you. Come be the first to use our new space! OUTDOOR SPACE Welcome to our home set on a spacious corner lot in North Hollywood, Ca. Featuring an oasis like, ultra-private 4,000 sq ft backyard, large pool, above ground hot tub, Spanish/Jungalow style casita, lounges and outdoor jungle shower surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. The backyard is lined with beautiful plants and flowers that bloom year round, artificial grass yard, terracotta tiles, and includes 3 giant palm trees. Easily accessible by two large turquoise doors from the street. At night, the entire property glows with uplit palm trees, color changing pool light, and candle lit lanterns through the trees and yard. Connect to our surround sound Sonos speakers and provide a soundtrack to your shoot. It’s very quiet and extremely private, do as you please! Perfect for your next photo shoot, film, tv, or whatever you can imagine. INDOOR SPACE - Backhouse (Casita) The newly built Spanish Jungalow Casita was finished this April 2023! Built as an indoor/outdoor pool house with Spanish influence this open-to-the-environment small home can be used for various needs. Featuring a living room with burnt orange lime washed walls, large full body mirror and French doors that open to the pool. Custom built kitchen has star-tiled backsplash, floating shelves, cabinets, vintage appliances that lend themselves to the live edge open window bar to the outdoors. Stools, and black and white striped awning drape over the bar with a French/Spanish influence. The large terra-cotta’d bathroom includes yellow lime washed walls, a giant rain shower, dark blue subway tiles, candles and plants growing within the tiled walls. POOL / HOT TUB You can’t build them this big anymore! Take a dip in our giant pool and warm up in the above ground hot tub with newly built deck while enjoying the lush backyard. Grandfathered in to past pool regulations, this enormous body of water was built in the 60’s when things were allowed to be a little larger and at 40’x20’ this 720 sq ft pool does not disappoint! Perfect for photo shoots, video backdrops, underwater photography and cinematography or just getting wet, use as you please! The pool can be heated for an additional cost. Pool Size: 40’ x 20’ Pool Depth: 3’ - 10’ Hot Tub Size: 7’x 7’ (7 people) INDOOR SPACE - Main House (Can be added for an additional cost) Charming single story 2 bedroom/1 bath, brand new kitchen, freshly painted newly remodeled home. The house interior has a modern California bohemian feel, fully furnished, new kitchen, guest bedroom and bathroom. The home has 18 solar panels keeping the entire property fully charged and environmentally friendly. EASY ACCESS The Grand Califa has 3 grand entrances. Two large turquoise private doors welcome you to the back and side of the yard. Park and load in and out within feet of the door allowing you easy access to bring your things straight into the backyard without hassle. Plenty of free neighborhood parking that’s easily accessible near the doors. We have a front door for in-home access as well. We are less than 2 miles from highway 170 and 101! WEATHER Weather or not, we are prepared for the best or least favorable of California weather. It rains sometimes here, and we understand how that affects production. I am an accomplished cinematographer that has been working in production for over 15 years. I own a camera and gear rental company that I run out of the house. Please contact me for any camera or productions needs! Sarah, I am a professional makeup artist working in the industry for over 10 years. I focus mainly on fashion / beauty / and celebrity makeup. I have a small studio here where I create online tutorials. If you need anything makeup related please contact me! IT’S HISTORY Living in the infamous Hollywood Castle over the last 10 years we are no strangers to having productions and events in our home. This is our next adventure and we look forward to accommodating whatever your imagination desires. If I could give 6 stars I would - cannot recommend The Grand Califa enough! We threw a bachelor party for my best friend, and Benji and Sarah exceeded all expectations to make our party unforgettable. Every detail of the space is expertly and playfully designed, and the Casita is lovely. The pool is sublime, the hot tub is luxurious, and the COLD PLUNGE is an absolute game changer. The projector with the night lights is such a vibe. And as the cherry on top, we had a small ceremony planned for the groom to be, and Benji offered to film it. He truly went above and beyond, and that video will live on in our friend group forever. Thank you for everything!!
