About the Space

Whether it’s for an hour or a day, you can book our boardroom to host a meeting. Our hourly and daily office clients range from counselors to lawyers and accountants, and our boardroom is a prime location for off-site interviews, mediations, presentations, and information workshops and presentations. Every boardroom rental comes with: • Telephone line • Internet and wireless access • Access to printers, copier, fax service • Option to add-on catering or coffee services • Optional stationary (e.g. pens, notepads, flipcharts, etc.) Our business centre has provided professional and cost-effective office and virtual solutions for small and mid-sized businesses and professionals since it opened over 35 years ago in March, 1986. Based on the corner of Boundary Road and Kingsway in Vancouver, the company prides itself on its high professional standards, superior service commitment and dedication to enhancing the business success of its clients. The staff derives great personal satisfaction from anticipating and exceeding client needs and expectations with an executive office suite.

General Rules
OVERTIME Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. Please refer to Peerspace’s Terms and Conditions for all other rules.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Rooms, chairs and all wipeable surfaces are wiped between bookings. Social distancing is in effect within meetings rooms, seating has been properly arranged to follow guidelines.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
  • Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
  • Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance
The space has informational signage including:
  • COVID-19 guest guidelines print outs. Download guidelines
  • Common areas have 6-foot (2-metre) markers on floors

Thanks for the space, we enjoyed the use of your boardroom. One comment - your description of the room indicates a "fully equipped boardroom"; to me this suggests that it would have some form of projection device - a TV or other device to plug a laptop into to project images onto a screen; however, this was not the case - no projection ability in the room. As such, you may consider changing the description of the room, or adding a TV to the wall so guests can plug in a laptop when needed.

It was easy to find parking. The location is conveniently by Starbucks. The space was perfect for what we needed. We will be keeping this location as an option the next time we are in need of additional space for meetings.
