About the Space

Our Air Conditioned Mid Century Modern Studio brings you the look of a fully decorated Mid Century Loft along with a fully operational Photo Studio. We are located in the heart of Downtown LA, in an early 1900's building that has been featured in movies since the inception of Hollywood. This large loft with high ceilings features wall-to-wall windows. Located a few steps from Grand Central Market. Restaurants Galore!!! *** Your setup/clean-up has to be WITHIN your booking period. The starting time you've booked here might be landing exactly right after the other group's booking period as there is no a way to put buffer in between booking here. Please ASK to confirm. *** Please note, this is NOT a sound proof space. We would highly recommend bringing in great audio recording equipment and sound proofing tools as we could not control the sound from our surrounding area. CLEANING FEE APPLIED OF $250.00 IF SPACE IS UNKEPT AND NOT SET BACK IN PLACE *** Peacock chair is available in the ADD ON (rental) section.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Hand Sanitizer

Brian & Kimberly were great hosts. The location has lots of space and light. As we are a UK based company, we arranged for a local PD to scout the location before booking. Fantastic communication throughout the rental service. Highly recommend.

This versatile space was perfect for our photoshoot! It has several little corners, areas, and variety of props to create a different vibe and vignette for whatever project you're working on. Brian and Kimberly were super communicative, friendly, kind, and punctual. Had a great experience and successful shoot in their space!
